Dumb as rocks

Three interviews with Sanders' supporters and all I can say is they are dumb as rocks.

I'd like to see Nicole Wallace, Hallie Jackson, Katy Tur and Savannah Guthrie in a four way girl on girl extravaganza.

Just sayin...

I have a tooth that hurts or a between two teeth that hurts when I drink water that is not body temp. It doesn't hurt when I eat. I brushed with temp. sensitive toothpaste and it seems okay until I drink water again. Hmmm

You might visit the dentist.

What evidence do you have for that? Sanders supporters were acknowledged even by Clinton's number-crunchers to be disproportionately well-educated - in fact, for many commentators it seemed, bizarrely, to be a way of dismissing them.

If you plan to claim that intelligence is not always associated with education, you would be right, of course, but all the evidence is that by and large it is.

I'm well aware that I may be treating your comment more seriously than it deserves, but I like to given people a chance to prove themselves.

I took it to mean that he was generalizing as was intended that he would from three publicized interviews with less than bright Sanders supporters.

We play this game in America where we find the dumbest people supporting any given candidate and we hold them up as if that were an exampler of all people who support that candidate.

Americans are insecure about their candidates. It makes them feel better about themselves to suggest that everyone who disagrees with them is an idiot.

By and large, people that disagree with me do tend to be idiots. Not always, but most of them. Makes it tough to pretend to consider opposing viewpoints.

It does seem odd that, in one poll I saw a few months ago, Hillary Clinton was the second least popular candidate in polling history, beaten only by Trump.

For what is one of the greatest popularity contests on Earth, it might have seemed wiser to choose people who were popular. I understand in a binary system each will be loathed by the die-hards of the other side, but in this case they each seem to be, if possible, almost more loathed by their own 'team'.

It is truly weird.

On the strength of their negatives alone, (that's a delightful circumlocution) neither should have been able to raise a dime. In theory, neither is electable.

I suppose it cuts to the chase: disliking them from the outset, not waiting for promises to not be fulfilled, or changes stymied and the naysayers to shout 'we told you so' if you dislike from the outset, you have no hope, but no dreams to be disillusioned either.

Nah. In this case they both really are genuinely not likable people.

Bah Gawd, King, it's an ALLY ROSE sighting! Third time this month!
Business is about to pick up!
