Going to NYC for the first time. Besides the obvious touristy type things, any suggestions for less obvious and touristy things that are not to be missed when in The Big Apple?

I heard touring the subways naked is all the rage. Then again, the person I talked to was tripping on acid.

So Hilary's name can not be mentioned without massive booing. Someone remind me who's convention this is?

She will still get the nomination and the democrats who normally vote democrat will still vote for her. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to travel and protest, the protests are highlighting the inequality of supporters within the democratic party.

I don't know who will win, but I will vote the lesser evil for women because Trump does not seem to value women's rights. I also do not want a wall between us and Mexico among other things.

Mainly I will concentrate my decision making on Congress.

I'm not a big lover of the gambling. Maybe one day. I do live the ocean. I've never been to NYC, so want to see all the usual stuff (Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Fifth Ave, Times Square, Central Park...) but wondered about any lesser-known gems.

It's more to Atlantic City then gambling. They have a boardwalk, restaurants, bars, clubs,pool parties and amusement park rides.

Time Square use to be fun for me but now it's so boring. The lights should amuse you since it's your first time. I only go to New York to go to this 24 hour seafood spot in Harlem. I think it's called El Puerto
