When working from home I've learned that I need to keep a pillow on my lap or the cats will find there own pillows.

Hard to type with a calico on my tits.

i'm working from home with a cat on my feet.
soooooo warm. :)

but now i need someone to bring me food

Either one, little boy. Impress us.

And before you ask, I can bench half a Smootmama (450/2 = 225 pounds). My goal for the end of the year is 235.

Bench is just how much you can lift. If you only can lift 225,and you goal is to only lift 235,why the fuck are we talking? I could easily bench 225 in high school. Lmao.

Muscular little boy like you can't even find a job as a bricklayer?
Pity.

What's your 1RM? Hmmmm?

not for nothin, but single maxing out is dangerous, and dumb.

It's not something you should do every workout, or every month for that matter.

But you can work towards trying a 1RM just to set a baseline.

(And I say that as a guy who once fucked his shoulder up on a 1RM military press).

Fuck is 1RM? Starting out today, 225 isn't what I would lift, but I can lift it. I haven't benched since last summer I think, so I really don't fucking know. But I use to do reps with 225,when I was working out. Today I will probably start off with 125,and in a week or two push it to 225.

I thought you might show up.

How about squats, then?

Yes, squats are a better judge of true strength than benching. (If that was the question). Pull ups are probably a even better judge.

I do more light weight heavy rep lunges than squats lately thanks to a pinched ulnar nerve.

That being said I will still bench light weight every-now and than. But as 225 is my last rep of 15, you probably do not want to go there with me.

Anything more than that my elbow is on fire for weeks.

Pull ups isn't more strength than benching. All you doing is pulling up your own weight. My bad, in Rob case, that is using more strength.

Shut up, men are talking here. Go outside and play in traffic.

Pullups are difficult for me because I have very long arms. Not impossible, but I can't compete with guys with short arms.

Honestly, I got to 225 and have stalled all summer.

I hear you about the elbow on fire, though. No fun. BPC-157 is a miracle drug for that, though.
