going through the townhalls at the moment - they should be able to trace their wedding certificate. the real issue is my dad's place of birth - all i know is he was jewish-born in germany 1917 and brought out to the east end of london as a tiny baby, along with siblings, by a family member. his parents couldn't get out of germany and were shot.

I would think that his birthplace would be listed on the wedding license.

let'shope so :) would make life a lot easier. so would knowing where they got married, of course. i'm working on guesses at the moment. be a turn up for the books if they never actually married! they never divorced, just separated many years ago. pretty sure they didthough, and registry office probably.

Mr. D ? *taps chin with index finger*

When I wandered into the GB, I suspected Mr. D of giving me a titty twister.
It hurt like a bastard, the first time. I placed one of those fake chicken filets in my bra.
The one that has an erect nipple molded in. Now, the titty twisting is an amusing joke.
The bruising is painted on with make up. *winks exchanged*

Butters- Have you tried giving the passport agency call and explaining your situation and that the birthplace is unknown? I am sure you have but just trying to toss ideas out there. I know how frustrating paperwork can be.

I think for the first time, I may use the iggy button. Where are all these alts coming from?

thanks, sg:rose:
yeah :) they're the ones who told me to use the local townhall services. if i can strike it lucky with the first townhall of the area i think they most likely married, and IF the details of my dad's birthplace are on there, i'll be on top of the game. if not, things get trickier.

There’s something wonderful about drinking in the afternoon. A not-too-cold pint, absolutely alone at the bar -- even in this fake-ass Irish pub.

I have given up on being useful today. I might go to a concert tonight, maybe.
It even hurt to lie in bed this morning.

I hope you feel better Noor. And I hope you get enough strength to go to the concert.

Thank you!

It's a bit better than this morning. I am going to try a walk with my brother in a bit.
I put on my wool socks and a cotton/cashmere sweater. It's not that cold here yet, just 30degrees but I figured it couldn't hurt.

I'm a pretty angry boy today. I think I need booze when I get home.

What I really need is a rub n tug, however but that ain't happening. The booze will have to suffice.

Christ, I hate salespeople. They're like fucking mosquitoes—
with the same IQ.

If any of his siblings still alive, they might know.
