thankyou :) i know i'm walking back into a big mess, i've been forewarned  plus my sale rail's been taken back for the winter coats and all the xmas goods being saved for the start of december (including the decorations for the shop!) have all been put out and sold off. oy

buttery, there is such a thing as seasonal, temporary help.

Would it be possible for you to put in a request for holiday assistance ?

I would have found out about Lit, a heap of years earlier, if My Ogre Husband did not hide the "paperback books."

*gives a hug to my primitive, early Apple*

buttery, it seems a bit dysfunctional, but I am certain that they will be OK
when you make your Great Escape.

they've managed without me for a month - no-one's irreplaceable :D

(the takings were less than half this week i normally get but hey - dysfunctional's ot the word, lolol)

my great escape's delayed as i chase down details of my parents' birthplaces and marriage information before i can send off for my passport. it's proving troublesome.

buttery, I comprehend, almost perfectly. Someone that I know, had found the love of his life in another country. The requests did not end, even after they were living together, legally.

$ $ $ $ $ $ America montetizes everything. The clerks need reams of paper work to justify the money that is spread around.

Not on ancestry.com?

That's not an "open door" policy. It's an "email and we'll make an appointment for some time in the future" policy.

Creepy ?

Creepy is when I day dream of a tropical island paradise, and PBS flashes a video clip of six foot long eels that lunge out of the water to snatch a meal, on land!

PBS elaborates, and tells me how many sharp and pointy teeth there are to sink into my flesh.

yikes
