I love reading in the bath, but I am working my way through a collection I've attained that I would expose not to my steamy bath vapors.

Baths are bliss. I have a massive soaker tub that I fill with bubbles or one of those fizzy bath bomb things. I will spend an hour ir more in there, until I am pruny and borderline scalded by hot water. Best. Afternoon.

Oh, those fizzy bombs are the best!

I remember sneaking my mom's bath beads when I was a teen. I need to get my hands on these for a #wayback bath.

Although the makers argue otherwise, I think they lose heat quickly.

We are kind of keeping an eye out for a reclaimed marble tub for our master bathroom, if not something else would do, we just haven't seen 'it' yet.

I like my baths really hot, and I don't mind refilling it.

The upkeep might be painful.

I believe the Mrs has settled on this one for our bath remodel.

She'll be able to settle back and look out at Denali in good weather.

WOW! That's stunning.

I'm not very concerned about the upkeep on an antique tub. I prefer a natural patina. I do not polish the copper cookware that I have.

I've dealt with the green scum from a hot bath that had uncoated copper in it. It really won't hurt you, but it's not that pleasant to look at. A shower was required after a bath. Having that experience, we're going with acrylic.

Unless one falls into a deal, antique tubs are few and far between up this way, and expensive.
