Spare me from following after brute-force mechanics. My buddy has my old track car. He bought an Integra with a supposedly hotter GSR in it to swap in. First clue was that the tensioner pulley bolt had been stripped. He knew that part and had repared that.

Today was supposed to be a quick timing belt replacement. I went over to help him get everything lined up right. We pull the valve cover and find not one but four cam-cap bolts snapped off. Specs are 16 ftlbs.

After you broke the first one wouldn't you back off putting the muscle to them?
