Sounds too easy to be true.

it's a coupla blades on a stick/wand, basically; even my mum used to have one decades and decades ago. you're really only immersing the metal end into a soup or veggie mix meant for creaming, like potatoes. how hard do you think it can be? you could also detach the ends of some and put them in a dishwasher but who'd bother when clean-up is so fast anyway?

it's handy if you don't want to have to tip a pan full of hot ingredients into a regular food processor and then have to wash that up as well.

My kitchen if full of doodads. I do love me some doodads but enough is enough. New additions need to sell me on their ability to make my life easier without being tough to clean, a pain in the ass to store, or break on the second use.

All that being said...


I think I will get an immersion blender. If it does not work out in the kitchen I will use it to stir paint.
 
I hate when I can't find something and I obsess for hours over something that's really not worth the time. 🤷
