He makes sense.
That was many people's criticism all along, of the EU policies. They. accepted indiscriminately whomever had the means to get into a boat and pay for passage to Greece.
Some were genuine reffugees, some were opportunists or economic migrants. Or even ISIS recruits.
By the same token, not all people in real danger had the means or strength for that journey.

I don't know how they could help those whose lives are in real danger, but the current way is flawed.
