Kirkland is okay. But I prefer the thicker sliced butcher block style.

I don't have a particular preference on thickness when I'm making it for something like bacon and eggs. Now, if I'm using it to put in something, where it needs to have more presence, I want thicker bacon. The exception to that are BLTs and other sandwiches where I want the bacon really crispy, and thinner bacon works better for that.

Have not contemplated that side of the aisle, for ages. Was more about Wicked Enchantresses, witches, and wicked faeries. Goodness, Halloween is just around the corner.

(I cannot catch the scent of candy corn or pumpkin spice. The overpowering stench of artificial Christmas overwhelms everything in the stores.
