I was envisioning an upscale place but now I can't get that menu and Veitnamese coffee out of my head. Plus, some of the best restaurant food I have ever eaten have been in places just like this. Bonus I've not eaten there yet.

The best joints never need to be upscale. Not sayin' they're bad or wrong for going all organic farm-to-table hipster whatever, but...bowls of righteous pho should never be more than $10 and even then when in the casual Vietnamese joints, those orders are usually all seafood.

Also stands for the banh mi sandwiches. Cheapest here is around $7 or $8 and in other cities, you can get authentic for $5. Upscale joints will grift you for $12 and over. Always go to the real instead of remixed.
