Two shots of tequila, kind of double shots. Definitely more than an ounce. And Twp margaritas. Toasted.

I hate cotton candy. I fucking know I hate cotton candy. So how does my brain always manage to trick me into eating some?

Now Lafayette. The world can be so scary, people so horrible. Fuck. :(

And there will be ZERO change in gun laws.

Nope. It'll be the same story, over and over. The only differences will be the location and the number of the dead and injured. I'm popping a kid out into this world in a little over a month, and it all terrifies me.

People die, it is what it is. A murder get publicity and start to scare people. But shit like that happens here everyday, and nobody give a fuck.

Laws are broken every day. By you, by me, by sick fuckers.

This ain't utopia kids.

The sooner you accept laws are mere suggestions on how to act the better you'll feel.

Life is brutal. Unfair. Grab a helmet.

You know...if the law will allow you to.

Eh, acting like it's a normal thing to have regular mass shooting events in an otherwise modern and developed country isn't really the sane thing to do. It's acquiescing to an insanity that's perfectly possible to remedy... with enough mass political will to counteract things like the NRA lobby.

I miss us challenging each other in interesting ways.:rose::heart::rose:

Violence is the norm. Has been since life began.

We aren't as civilised as tv makes us out to be.

This. Well said.

^ Ithankyou.

Yeah, except that's just semantics. I'm sure people punch each other every day in Norway or Japan or Britain and that too qualifies as violence, but there's a reason they don't have regular mass shooting events. It isn't random, it isn't hard to figure out what the different factors are.

It's normal for me. I see it everyday. I supposed to shed a tear or give a fuck about what happened in Louisiana? When no one shed a tear or give a fuck about what's happening here?

So do drunks in cars and teens with cell phones.

Pass all the laws you want. People need incentives to obey. Unless it is convenient not to obey. We are all real good at justifying actions that give is a sense that when we do it it will be ok. It'll all work out.

Of course when you are hurting, afraid, feel like no one understands there is always a way to get that attention you so desperately desire.

Kind of like passing a new restriction. Maybe we should ask the TSA how effective those new security measures are liked and appreciated by everyone flying tomorrow.

Then please explain why the number of shootings be it mass shootings, single death shootings, police shootings are so high in the U.S. compared to other countries. I would greatly appreciate it.
