I am too tired and in too much pain to deal with passive-aggressive BS. I wonder if I will bother telling her or just stop considering her dependable.

It's been a nice much needed staycation. Well at least for my fella, there's no any kind of 'cation from my volunteer work. This weekend I plan on ignoring everyone. You doing low and slow? I think I need to get some ribs from my rancher friends.

Nope, going out for dinner for anniversary on Saturday and to the fair on Sunday. No low and slow for a couple of weeks. Cabin, next weekend.
 
I don't know how to explain this properly but I'll try to paint you a picture. Not sure how we got on the subject of using fight club to pick up women but tonight I told my friend I'd give him $40 if he'd walk up to a woman he didn't know, act like he was going to punch her in the face, and then stroke her hair with his fist while introducing himself as "Big Sexy".

That motherfucker did it and now I owe him money. Totally worth it to watch some girl jerk away from him and yell "Don't touch me!"

You are paying a guy to terrorize a woman and then touch them without permission?
He is lucky he didn't get shot.

This would've been a lahhhht more interesting with their genders reversed. :D

TBH, it's really his fault for even agreeing to it, but you better pony up that dough. I would've made it an even fifty or more. You can't do that shit at the bars here.

Yes. Absolutely. At a bar where people have definitely been shot and stabbed before. And this, children, is why alcohol is bad. But he cheated. She was watching our drunk asses discuss the entire thing before he walked over to her because we're as sneaky as 500 lb. retired ninjas with emphysema, which is the only reason he actually walked over to her and did it. I feel like I only owe him half.

I originally stated $100 until it looked like he was actually considering it, then I dropped it to $40 because I'm poor folk. The bartender told him he'd give him a double shot of crown, which he got. I'm going to leave him the $40 in my will.

Nice, quiet and peaceful. A mess of boxes, and despite several people leveling my bed, it's not level. I am sleeping on one side. When things are better I will have leveling party or something. Since I got hurt on the bed, I am hesitant to do it myself.

I am only one handed at this point, so I have no choice but to depend on others for help. It just took me 90 minutes to unpack 8 china bowls and 8 dishes.
I am not completely out of the other place so I am kind of concerned about that.

The new landlord is a really nice guy, but so was my old one until he got very ill.

Glad to hear it. I get the joys of moving. Never had to do it one handed though.

Damn.

I kinda feel like all of us should jump in a VW bus or something and go over your place to help you finish unpacking and fix your bed.

Then after everything's done, have a mega pizza party with a few bottles of Old Barn Owl and Night Train Express. :D
