LOS ANGELES — Showtime announced Tuesday that it had acquired the rights to Patti Smith’s memoir, “Just Kids” and would adapt it into a limited TV series.

The book, which won the 2010 National Book Award for Nonfiction, focused largely on Ms. Smith and her relationship with the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.

“It’ll be the story of Patti and Robert and the people in their world,” said David Nevins, the president of Showtime, at a Television Critics Association press event.

i've had one on the highway before. had to pull over immediately to the shoulder. it was awful. i was fortunate in that i was able to pinpoint what triggered it. stress. emotional stress for me.
 
It's my fault. I always seem to trigger the fight or flight response in the wimminz. :(

I think Exene and John Doe are the perfect combination. Excene chooses really odd harmonies, and often things things that aren't "right" but work in context (for me). Its interesting to here you say this.
