Only if you're in it for the follower count tally.

Otherwise, it's been and continues to be not only a mode of connection, tool of expression and news transmitter, but an enormous voice outlet and power resonator for those in the margins who typically don't have voice or power in the greater outside.

Fundamentally disagree, because even if advertisement is there, you choose what you let in. I've seen interaction, action and effect change many things due to people's voices coming together on Twitter. For example, a juror on the Travyon Martin trial was about to solidify a potentially lucrative book deal about her experience in the trial and it got shut down like a nuked fighter jet solely due to immense Twitter-expressed outrage. The publisher couldn't take the chance on the negative rep and they deaded that shit quick.

I'm not saying you're wholly wrong about the marketing end because it's a social networking tech used for those ends by people who're about that world, but it doesn't signify the totality of what Twitter is and what it does for the greater sphere of people outside of celebrity and corporation. And it certainly hasn't jumped the shark. Ask Friendster if they'd love to switch places with Twitter.

Dear God, my adrenal glands are completely empty. I watched an earlier contender for Major League Baseball game of the year tonight, Braves in a helluva roller coaster game over the Phillies. Up 4, then down 1, then up 3. Whew!

Tell me which group pays the race card and which doesn't. Oh if the dems are so tolerant why at the 2012 convention did they SEGREGRATE every group? Gays in one room, unions in another, environmentalists in a third, blacks in a fourth, Hispanics in a fifth...
Yet Republicans had one room one convention open to all.

Tell me again which party shows includes everyone, and which doesn't.

BTW African-Americans were better off with Reagan as president than with Obama. Democrat city Detroit... bankrupt and crime ridden OE of the poorest cities in the 1st world. Find any city run by Republicans that is in half as bad shape as Detroit. None exist.

I woke up from a bad dream, went outside, looked up, and there it was. Perhaps the cosmos is trying to tell me something, but I'm too sleepy to figure it out.
