OMG Zumi, that's astounding.

I'm constantly enthralled by the process of turning something we normally would regard as useless, disposable or castoff into art and beauty. The tree that came from would be honored for the transformation, I think. ;)

The white part of one of my eyeballs is all bloody.

The interwebs said it's nothing to worry about though.

i get that all the time. i think it's just the evil inside me. i really wouldn't worry about it.

It seems like they could use a bulldozer to make a berm to redirect the lava around the houses.

i once figured out that my parents like to have sex on their anniversary based on the fact that me and my sisters birthdays are two weeks apart and about nine months separated both from said anniversary. i'm a weird guy. for further proof of this obvious fact see the fact that wrong elements birthday thread made me think of this.

Good lord, it's hotter than Fata covered in Roquefort in my office this morning. I'm going to have to open a window.

I just got an email with a pdf attachment: 120 pages of engineering drawings that print on 17" paper.

1. What kind of idiot sends that big of a file?
2. Are you too cheap to print them yourself and fedex them to me?
3. Why in the world would I have 17" paper?

I shall respond with a very sternly worded email.

Why am I so hungry today? I want an open faced ham sammie with pickles & cheese on it and then broiled until the cheese it bubbling.

1. That was a small file.
2. Yes.
3. "B" size paper is the "new black". Catch up with the times.

Sigh. You should just assume all "Lint" people were "Lit" people since that's basically the reality. Especially if they're now posting here (again).

This.

Also, holy fuck Neci, I was not ready for that. But point taken.

a lot of architects & engineers have in-office printers that use 11x17 because sending out for 24x36 is a pain.

and emails quicker than fed ex

welcome to 2014, johnny

The "new black" is all we deal with at my work and have for a very long time.

It costs me about $400 to get a full set of plans printed. It costs me about $40 to print a 11x17 set.
