I'm Vetteman? Not likely.

And thanks for the kind words, you guys. :rose:

hey, shut up, you guys. two teams of overpaid douchebags that i don't care about are about to play a game that is likely to be extremely lopsided and mind numbingly boring, so hush. this shit's fucking important.

I like walking, swimming, belly dance and my pilates reformer.

I was really bummed when they changed the times for the belly dance class I'd enrolled in, I was looking forward to getting back to it.
I'm happy the Pilates class worked out though.

Hiya Pete!

The yoga class I tried was um...too hard/advanced and even though it was supposed to be a beginners class, there were so many more seasoned students they refused to bring it "down" to my level.

My Pilates instructor is fabulous. She's a second generation teacher (her teacher L. San Miguel was taught by Joseph) which is cool. Plus she's sports based so she conforms her classes to what I need to improve my lifting, cycling and running. However, she's also great with older folks who need extra attention and assistance. Even Grumpy seemed to enjoy the reformer class he went to.

Saw this and thought of Ally and Fata...

What an awful experience - I've been to a few different teachers/studios and have learned finding a good fit can be time consuming. But it's shitty to advertise a class as a certain level if you're not going to follow through with that commitment.

omg

Spider crawls inside Australian man on trip to Bali - and remains there for THREE days

Dylan Thomas is now called 'Spider-Man' by his friends after the insect crawled inside of him, possibly through a scar on his abdomen. The bug was finally removed by doctors who used a pair of tweezers.

I am NOT clicking that link after my reading through the spider thread last night.

the other day it was the leech in the nose. now it's the spider in the sternum. tomorrow we'll see the cockroach in the baby's ear? those are nasty fuckers.

i have some gnats (from a house plant. apparently they occasionally come in the potting soil. who knew? not fucking me, goddamnit) that keep trying to commit suicide by flying up my nose. as much as i hate i'd really prefer it if they'd fucking stop.
