lol - you're very welcome.

Let's just hope Mistress is properly amused with this naming of one of her floggers.

ETA: and I'm thinking Saint Swithin for the two fall bungee flogger since it always leaves me wet.

I love that when my children hear 'hell is for children' they do not understand the lyrics.

Well, I have a blurt that probably belongs in kindergarten, or ideally would never happen.

An acquaintance of my close girl friend was talking to said friend about 'ropes and spanking and stuff'. Now, she knows I am interested in topping and it ended up that I met this other girl after work.

I was driving us back from a cafe after a perfectly ordinary introduction when I noticed she was answering more than a few text messages. I feel that is a bit impolite, so i glance over.

Her: Oh I'm so sorry, do you mind?
Me: A little, but answer them of course.
Her: Oh... are you sure? Are you sure you'll let me text
Me: Yes, I did say yes.
Her: Ok... so do I have your permission??
Me: ???
Her: Ok, if you're sure.

I had a good laugh about it later, but at the time it was a 'WHAT?' moment.

Spring break needs to be over.
.....Now.

And someone needs to smile upon me and let the school district switch to the three on, one off, full year of schooling.
......Before June.

medication withdrawal just fucking sucks. then there is the, you should go to the doctor and have him taper you off. well, if i could have afforded the fucking doctor i wouldn't be going off this shit in the first place. this too shall pass. i just wish it already passed. then i just completely flipped out this morning. not fun. not fun. getting out helped a little. my sleep is off. my moods are off. blah. i am feeling like an out of control yo-yo.

Part of the new healthcare bill is forcing fast food places to put up nutrician facts on all menu boards and in the drive thru. I hope this is one of those things that's going to take a while to inforce. Guess who will get to put all of that shit up.

And how many people who go through the DT are really worried about the calories and such to begin with. I know customers who KNOW that a small frappe' has 485 calories and still order 2 a day. Not to mention the double angus burgers (that's 2/3 pound of meat) guys that come in every day. They don't care about calories, they care about getting their shit quickly.

And yes, I do believe the information should be availible. And guess what, we have pamphlets, it's on the back of the tray liners, and if you check out the new boxes and wrappers, yup it's there too. And if you ask, all of the staff knows where they can find the information for you.

Seriously, people already know fast food is bad for you. Do we really need to shove it in their faces every where they turn when they walk in, or even pull through the DT? Why not just make fast food illeagal? It'll take the evil corps out faster.

Few days ago someone told me I got a problem with anger and rage. I laughed. Then I spoke to my mom and she told me the same. Well, maybe I do have a problem with anger. I am angry like every day. For any stupid reason. I am not really sure what my problem is. Dunno if I am still dealing with this never ending depression of mine, or if I was just born this fucked up.

Damn if I could get me a new brain, I would!

Maybe I am just this sour.

That is SO idiotic. If they want people to start eating healthy, here's an idea, maybe they should make it cheaper to eat healthy? I pay twice as much to buy msg free stuff. So, in other words, I'm paying them extra to NOT put something in food. It annoys the SNOT out of me.

Yup, low carb stuff and no sugar stuff is pricey too. If I go for whole wheat pasta it's $2+ a box, if I get plain old white noodles it's 79cents. And I don't even think about going into the small health food stores!

I know. And if you get the good tasting whole wheat noodles it's even more expensive. How about the difference between processed sugar and unprocessed sugar. They charge more to NOT process the sugar! Grr!

I ran across one of those televised college courses about 5 months back that had a guest lecturer who was some kind of expert in food production things. He was talking about organic vs non-organic and the differences in the way the US handles healthy food (including availability and price) compared to other countries.

He was talking about how everyone swears up and down that organic food is harder grow for the overall populace and that's why it's more expensive. Then he pointed out some smaller, poorer country (Cuba, maybe? Can't remember...) that does nothing *but* organic because they can't afford the chemicals to do non-organic farming. Then he went on to talk about how this country managed to produce enough fruits and vegetables for the entire country plus having enough to sell and they ended up doing it for cheaper than we could.

It was very interesting.
