It's over easy and hard. As in how firmly the yoke is cooked.
I dislike both. The only way I'll eat them is scrambled.

Why do y’all say over easy? Can you explain?
Is there over difficult?
we also wound up scrambling a bunch and feeding them back to the chickens.
They already did. Called it chicken eggicideI'm sure @stickygirl is going to make some comment about cannibalism next![]()
Yeah, you can either gently scramble them and then put them into ice cube trays. I think three cubes equals a large egg.Wait, hol' up - You can freeze eggs?!

Or you can separate the whites and the yokes to freeze them. If you do this, then you must mix some sugar or salt into the yoke before freezing. Or you get a very unpleasant texture when cooked.
It's recommended that you thaw completely before cooking but I've found that they scramble just fine from frozen.

Like scratching that particular spot on a dog that gets the leg goingAh the joys of a kitty getting so into head scritchings that they start licking air.
Help I'm stuck! I knew I shouldn't have worn my cheerleading skirt to do home repairs! This only works if you have a step-sibling.
Yoke is also the upper chest/back/shoulder part of shirts and the fitted waist area of otherwise flowy skirts and such.Again, in the interests of pedantry, the yellow mass in an egg is a yolk. A yoke is (usually) a wooden beam used to connect two animals together, such as to a cart or plow. I suppose there might be places where the vernacular meanings and/or pronunciations have merged or become scrambled, though.![]()
Mine raises one paw in the air. We call it "Praise the Lord!"Ah the joys of a kitty getting so into head scritchings that they start licking air.
Speaking of which I just ruined mine this morningRunny yolk, but not sunny side up. Means the egg was flipped to cook, but not enough to harden the yoke.
You can't tell us you didn't chuckle, snortle, cackle, laugh or anythingI go away for a couple of hours and we have three pages about weasels, eggs, and other shenanigans. Time to get this thread ship-shape.
