There are parallels between Star Wars and the Percival legend. Not even very subtle ones.Anyway. Star Wars: am I right?

I didn’t say that. There can be discussions about at what point it makes sense to introduce kids to literary analysis.Yeah, we should stop teaching literature in schools.
Don't forget Luke kissing his sister. Gotta be something for the T/I crowd.Princess Leia - "lay her", get it? Clearly sexual.
Oh, and the fact that they showed her barely dressed and chained up too.
But by the time they'd finished debating how to use it, it had gone soft.Ents had the hardest wood in Middle Earth. Agree or disagree?
Still, the moment when she takes the chains and uses them to throttle the bastard is an excellent piece of symbolism, even if it was completely accidental on the part of the creators.Princess Leia - "lay her", get it? Clearly sexual.

That's why the Entwives left. But by the time they'd finished debating how to use it, it had gone soft.
Fahrenheit 451 "It was a pleasure to burn."
Clearly he had an STD and enjoyed it, the freak.
Catch-22: "It was love at first sight."
She saw his penis
Pride and Prejudice "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife."
Well, duh
FINALLY! THE MYSTERY IS SOLVED!That's why the Entwives left.
Well their Entwives had been gone for thousands of years, of course they were priapic by that point.Ents had the hardest wood in Middle Earth. Agree or disagree?
Wait, we know it was accidental? They had to have seen the connection, no?Still, the moment when she takes the chains and uses them to throttle the bastard is an excellent piece of symbolism, even if it was completely accidental on the part of the creators.

I tend to think they did know, but like a lot of pop culture stuff, the movie is not particularly 'even' in terms of depth or subtlety. It has enough ham-fisted moments to provide ammunition to people who want to analytically diminish the best parts as well. My point, I suppose, is that those best parts are still worth acknowledging, even for people underwhelmed by the whole.Wait, we know it was accidental? They had to have seen the connection, no?
I'm not entirely certain this thread is stable!@ElectricBlue they're talking about Star Wars again.
I have a bad feeling about this.I'm not entirely certain this thread is stable!

Bantha puns. Or tauntauns in a pinch, despite how malodorous their puns are.Are we on horse puns now? Or was that a different thread?
You have to treat your fellows well and tread lightly in this thread while threading the needle between horses treats and eggs' treatises, lest you be considered a threat and treated to a threatening as we treat about wars among the stars being ended by treaties.
I don't know either, I can't do shit, my body hurts, I'm bored
@cw5523729 You ever hear of 'engagement bait'?I can't believe you didn't work "teat" in there at least once. Some erotica lit writer you are.
I did some research and now I'm convinced it's just dicks all the way down
