Not always. My girlfriend has been working super long hours lately, so when I see her it's usually -kiss- -mumble- -pass out in bed-

I went out with a bunch of friends today--almost everyone in the vocal band. We had Japanese food and sake bombs (well, except for those of us who were driving), and gave an impromptu song to a member's new girlfriend (not to mention the whole rest of the restaurant), and then went bowling, with varying degrees of success. And it was really fun. But in some ways it just made things worse, because they are all going home with friends and/or sig.others, or to friends and/or sig.others, and I am at my computer eating TV-dinner spaghetti and I am still not king, and over me hangs the specter of five old-maid aunts who are still living with my grandmas, and the ever-present fear that, if I don't get my ass in gear, I will turn out just like them. ...And, past that, the ever-present fear that my ass is already in gear, and it is hopeless, and I will turn out like them whether I want to or not.

So I have a friend who I talk openly about sex to. We have little competitions to see who will have more sex. From the number of times I've qualified to be here you can see whose winning. He boasted to me how he had sex twice on Friday. That is such a far off dream of mine.

Anyways...

CWatson - I would have gone home with you. It is upsetting when you aren't with someone. Same thing if it's the other way around as wel.

Austin - I have tried phone sex once and it was weird and awkward. I think it counts. Sure.

I haven't had sex more than once in one day since February 28 1995. Yes, I remember the exact date. There are a lot of reminders for me in that time period. I could even tell you the positions we used.

well this week is halfway over, soon it is weekend again... weekend relationships are really quite a lot better than the "see each other once every three months" thing i had done some years ago. and still, the waiting time always seems too long.

I have one such with a year's wait.

If I need to wait a year for someone 2500 miles away, a year for her to break loose at the same time as I can, and also travel to a place in mutual reach, well, that's the breaks of such a distant relationship.

In the meantime, though, I am married, living in the same house. It's been more than a year. Even if I am clearly about to travel out of town for a week, she can't be prevailed upon. Yet she tells me we are in love. Hooray for love.
