The year is 1766 and I have been alive for three hundred years and I have a miserable existence. My name is Thomas Kingston and I have been cursed with immortality. I have the unwanted ability to never age, never get sick and never die.

For the past one hundred years I have had the identity of a bounty hunter which is not a bad existence and I am a very rich man. The only thing that I hate about my existence is that I have lost the one person that I love and I have been searching throughout my three hundred years to find her.

Her name was Alexis and she was the most beautiful woman that I had ever laid eyes on. From the moment that I first saw her I knew that we were meant to be together and I struggled to make that happen. It took three years until we were finally together and married but then something happened that would forever change my life.

I was in an inn one night when a scoundrel, well known to the area came into the place to rob it. There was a struggle and I stopped the robbery but as he left he vowed revenge. I did not think anything of it until one night later I saw the whole sky lit up and recognized the area as that of where my home was. I ran to my home to find it engulfed in flames.

As I stood there and shouted Alexis' name I heard a noise behind me. I turned just to see the scoundrel that I had stopped standing there, a torch in one hand and a sword in the other. Before I knew what was happening he stabbed me in the chest and I fell to the ground in front of what was left of my home and life.

But I didn't die, I awoke several hours later to find myself in a sack due for burial. I ran from the only home that I had known then and I have been searching for that which I have loved for the last three hundred years.

Has been hunting Thomas for a long time along side his lover.I need someone for my lover if its ok with angelius

OOC: It is cool with me, but if you know someone that I haven't written with earlier and she is interested earlier that is even better.

OOC: Why- was there someone that you wanted to have in here as your lover?

hmmmm, I seem to be in a lot of threads with her and I think that our writing has become a little strained- can I get back to you on that one and no, it isn't me saying no

OOC: okay, the answer is yes. She can play the part of your lover if she wants to that is. She also has to be bad, hate my guts and want to kill me.

OOC: Oh, I think I can manage that, Angelius. I can do bad attitude quite well.

OOC: Good, now I need my lost love to post and all will be set.

As I ran through the trees and bushes in the dark I thought to myself that my night is not going well. I had been attacked by three immortals tonight and killed one of them. First there was Jeremy Winthorp, an enemy I had had for nearly one hundred years and then I had been attacked by Stryfe, the one person I did not want to see tonight. I got out of that battle by diving off the bridge we were fighting on into the water but as soon as I had gotten out of the water I was attacked by Stryfe's lover.

I slowed my run down to a walk when I figured out that nobody was following me but then I heard a noise behind me and turned, drawing my sword.
"Come out of there," I said, my sword at the ready.
The bushes parted and a little girl walked out, looking at my sword and then me. I knelt before her and smiled, "What are you doing out here all alone little girl. Are you lost?"
"Yes," the little girl said, "I followed a rabbit out here and then lost in and couldn't find my way home. Can you help me?"
"Of course I can," I said, "My name is Thomas, what's yours?"
"Katherine," the little girl said.

I then took the little girl's hand in my own and began to walk in the direction that she had appeared from. As we walked she talked to me about how she saw a strange light coming from the trees while she was chasing the rabbit and I flinched as I realized that she had seen the death of Jeremy. I looked down at her and knew that she couldn't walk anymore so I picked her up.

After an hour of walking we found her home where her mother thanked me and was about to give me something but I told her that it was not necessary as I was just the right person in the right place at the right time. I then walked off, a smile on my face as I thought that at least something had gone right with the night.

Styrfe:

That fool. He should know very well that he cant get away from me."Thomas,"I called, "Its useless to run,Ill always hunt you down,"I said. Seems he got away from my love as well.He is a slippery immortal. But you dont get to be as old as I am by being stupid. "Weather you believe it or not,I will be the end of you, Thomas kingston,"I said. I went to join my love and return home.Soon, my hunt will be over...

Name: Lily
Long chestnut hair ending at her waist, emerald eyes, slightly turned up at the edge, like a cats. Her ears a slightly pointed. A fairy sprite with an agenda. Think tinker bell without the wings.

I peered at the man as he left the cottage. He had a good heart, though it seemed at times he doubted it. The Goddess had sent me to him, to help him in anyway that I could. I was to help him on his quest which, the Goddess had said was going to be long and full of danger. I laughed and the tickled of bells was heard in some far away land, danger excited me.

I slipped from my perch, slinking through the forrest, following him. My boots were silent on the floor, the green leather covering my body, blending with my surroundings. The golden knife, a gift from the Goddess for my journey, strapped to my thigh glinting in what little light there was. He knew someone was here, he was to astute not to. I could only wonder how long he would keep walking.

Diane

OOC: Diane Weston, long hair as black as midnight, dark eyes-almost black themselves, 5' 7", 135 lbs.

IC: I walked through the door of our home. I was boiling mad-he had escaped us again. And we had planned it so carefully this time. What was I saying? We plan it so carefully EVERY time but he still manages to get away.

I stripped off my sword and tossed it on the bed. "I cant believe he got away," I said to Styrfe as he entered behind me. My voice was cold as a winter's wind and I knew he knew how mad I was at this point.

"Again!," I almost yelled at him as if it was his fault though Thomas had escaped me also. "What do we have to do to finally trap him? Where are we going wrong?"

Not waiting for an answer, I began to peel off my soaking wet clothes. He had pushed me into the water when we were fighting and he had made sure he did it in the undercurrant so that, by the time I got out, he was gone.

Throwing my wet things in the corner of the room, I slipped into a dry robe. "I need a drink," I said to Styrfe as I walked past him to get it,"And we need to plan our next move. Mark my words-We will have his head. No matter how long it takes us."

Stryfe:

She was right. What were we doing wrong? "Listen, he wont evade us forever,we have forever to catch his, baby," I told her. I took her sword and stripped off mine.I placed them on our shelf.I pulled off my shirt and went to the bar to fix us drinks,"Your usual, babe?," i said. I fixed myself straight vodka on the rocks and waited for what she would say next..

Diane

I nodded to his question. He knew vodka was my drink of choice when I was this upset-which I was becoming more and more these days.

When he handed me my drink, I downed a good portion of it, squinting my eyes as I felt the burning liquid slide down my throat. Opening my eyes, I looked at Stryfe and grimaced.

"I know we have forever but, damnit, I dont want it to take that long," I said,"And he is getting better. One of these days it might be us who are the ones lying at his feet instead of the other way around."

My hand closed into a fist as I said,"I want his head in my hands and I want it soon. You, of all people, should know how impatient I am when I want something. And I have wanted this for too long."

Stryfe:

"I want his head so bad I can taste it lover,"I told her. "It would take a really long time to become as strong as I am,Ive killed more Immortals than I can count,". I said. I ran my hand through her thick beautiful hair. I went over to the the bar to fix myself a drink. I sipped it. then I lit up a cigarette, something I did when I was extremely upset or pissed. "He will die soon,I promise you that," i told her.I kissed her lips...

OOC: This is the last OOC that I am writing in this thread as I am starting up another one just for ideas for this thread and Isolde, I have an idea that you might like in it.

Diane

I let his lips linger on mine for a bit and then I took the cigarette and put it out. He knew I hated cigarette smoke but I think he enjoyed pissing me off. We had a rocky relationship going-he and I and it was fed mainly off our hatred for Thomas. That hatred had been the reason we had gotten together in the first place.

I hadnt always hated Thomas Kingston. At one time I would have done anything for him-include give up my life. But times change and so do people-Immortal or no. There was a point when I not only shared Thomas' heart but his bed.

I guess sharing his heart would not be the right way to phrase that. He never had loved anyone but Alexis, I was just to blindly in love to see that. He was always talking about her-always mourning her and I accepted that. I thought I could eventually help him see past her but, again, I was wrong.

Wrong, wrong, wrong....everything about him was wrong. I finally broke it off with him. I could not stand to live in the shadow of HER anymore so I said goodbye and good luck but he wasnt happy with that. I never thought he would do anything to hurt me. Thomas may not have loved me like I wanted him to but I never in my existance thought that he would take my rejection out on my family.

But that is exactly what happened. I came home late from chores one evening to find my family's home in flames. I was stunned and then the final blow came. Out of the flames stepped Thomas-I couldnt believe it. He had killed my family. I had willingly given him my heart and soul but it was not enough for him. He had come back to take away the last thing in my life that I had left.

I dont remeber much after that. I know I grabbed the nearest thing to a weapon that I had on hand which was a small hunting knife that I took with me at all times for protection against any attackers. A poor peasant girl living on a farm did not have much protection against intruders. I flew at him and tried to kill him. I wanted him dead so bad in that moment that I could taste it. I still can after all these years.

I dont know exactly how it happened but shortly after that I was laying on the ground, my own knife in my heart and my death immenent. The last thing I remember is Thomas' face hovering over me trying to tell me something but darkness took me and I went willingly.

I woke-yes woke from death-with a different face looking at me. That of Stryfe. He took me in and explained to me what happened and trained me to fight. I hated what I was but I hated Thomas even more and I vowed to follow the killer of my family until I obtained vengence.

And that was what brought me here with Stryfe. I looked at him and smiled. My lips came close to his own and I whispered,"See that you keep that promise. I want to know what his next move is-I want to be there." My lips brushed his before I turned away and said over my shoulder,"I can be very giving when I'm happy, Stryfe, so make me happy."

OOC: Samantha - aka - Alexis
18 year old mortal, with long golden curls and azure eyes. Full lips and a fully-developed woman's body, offset by an angelic face. A ray of sunshine, pure and light, yet quite passionate and headstrong.

IC:

God how I HATED riding side saddle during these incessantly boring huting expeditions! Why oh WHY did Papa always insist upon my going?

I knew that being the only daughter of a widowed Gentleman seemed to others as being some horrible curse, but my Papa never thought so and treated me with a respect normally reserved for the male persuasion. He showered me with affection and gave in to any and all of my girlish desires. We were a team of sorts, which is why I could never bring myself to decline his invitations to appear at social outings. I knew that he was proud of my strength and loveliness, and only wanted to expose me to the culture of the times.

I rode near him, my face flushed, my smile to him genuine, as we arrived back at the stables. The men milled about, patting each other on the back for enduring such a thrilling chase. I, on the other hand, disliked the hunt, thinking it a cruel pasttime. I always kept that to myself however, and I dismounted, running to embrace my father.

"You were magnificent as always, Papa!" I told him, standing on my toes to kiss his cheek.

He smiled softly, brushing a stray golden tendril from my face.

"Now my dearest, I know how you abhor these post-hunt parties, but I must make an appearance. If you don't mind, I'll have our carriage take you home, and I will follow after I've had a Brandy or two." he said as he winked.

"Oh Papa, you know me too well!" I smiled wantonly and kissed him once again, relieved that I would not have to endure hours of boring chat.

An entire afternoon all to myself! I cannot wait to return home so I can remove this stuffy clothing and wear something more suitable for a walk by myself. Where shall I go today...?

I rode home thinking that the fields surrounding our estate would be lovely this time of year.

I walked through the fields and relived last night in my head, they had tried to trap and kill me again; Stryfe and Diane. Was I ever going to get rid of them or would they chase me for the rest of my life which was a long time. I was lucky to survive that night but I knew that I wouldn't escape from them forever and knew that I would have to fight them and hopefully I would survive.

I looked around and saw that it was a peaceful field that I was in and decided to lay down. As I lay down I placed my sword next to me and looked up at the sky, the clouds, at everything and began to relax. It wasn't every day that I got a chance to relax, what with chasing down criminals in my line of work or fighting for my life against other immortals.

I closed my eyes and listened to every noise in the fields but found that there was nothing but peace and quiet.

Stryfe:

I felt a wave of anger rush through me. I grabbed my shirt coat and my sword and left in a hurry."Ill be back shortly love," i yelled to her.She didnt love me,even though deep down I was in love with her with all my heart.I relit my cigarette and continued my walk looking for something or someone to help clear my head...

I smiled to myself, letting Thomas sleep. He needed his rest and I would give it to him. His heart was lonely, but that would change soon. I remembered love. It was a wonderful thing, to bad the one I wanted was evil, but he hadn't always been so, once he had been charming and so kind.

A tremor went through me. Something was wrong, I just didn't know what it was. I left Thomas be and made my way through time, heading towards an incredible anger. I wasn't suprised when I saw who it was, I had always felt some strange connection to him. My laughing voice decended on him, and I could see him physically tense.

"Stryfe, I should have known you were around here somewhere."

Stryfe:

The laughter made me jump.It sounded like a voice id heard before, but I couldnt place it.I pulled my sword."No games, whoever it is step into the light so I can see you," i called into the darkness. This is the last thing I needed tonight."Fine then Ill come to you,"I said and started looking for the source that had caused the laughter..
