A special hug to those wonderful couples who met here and are getting to be together in the flesh for Christmas. It appears that there are a few of you. I hope that there are more success stories out there like Jenny and Oman.

Also this morning I would like for everyone to pray for a wonderful lady's family. I met her when I was a teenager, at church, her kids are a little bit younger than me. For the last couple of years she has fought breast cancer twice, became diabetic and it has got way out of whack at times and been in coma and her body totally shutting down, but came back. She reminded me of my mom in so many ways. But even when she was going through all this she always was cheerful and joking and fun loving. They went to Arkansas to be with relatives for Thanksgiving and she was taken to the hospital there and finally lost her battle Wed night about midnight. This whole family is great, but she was so loving and caring to me and I admired her greatly. I will miss her dearly. But I know that she is out of pain now and that she has gone home to Heaven to watch out for her family from above.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers for my friend and her family and for me. It just seems that we keep losing all the ppl that have been such a great influence in our lives. I know we are getting older and so are those ppl who mentored us, but it is never easy saying good bye even when you know that it is for the best.
