'The Hours' What a fucking yawn-fest!

Just saw 'The Hours'. God, tell me what is good about this movie???
Miserable women living miserable lives. Yeah, like that's a movie!

Well I saw The Pianist last night, excellent movie, a Roman Polanski flick based all on a true story, like Kafka, The Diary of Anne Frank, and Schindler's List all put together.

Last week I saw Chicago, a very entertaining movie with many HOT sexy women and catchy tunes.

I saw the Hours a couple of weeks back, and I actually liked it. I didn't have too high expectations really, but I liked it. Maybe because I'm just miserable, depressing and like them. LOL
I still haven't figured out why Nicole Kidman should get an Oscar for it though... and in a way I'm surprised the f/f kissing scenes haven't been written about much in the UK press. Especially considering how they are hyping up the taTu girly kiss in their music vid...oh well.

Saw Chicago too a while back and probably had too high expectations. Really can't see why people think it's all that good, and especially can't see why everyone loves Renee Zellweger in it. I normally like her, but here she tried slightly too hard to keep looking sultry. I loved the puppettery scene though! Still, give me Moulin Rogue anytime instead of Chicago.
