Texas May Start Hoarding Gold…Secession Next?

We all know the cliché: ‘Don’t mess with Texas.’

Well, a new piece of legislation is being proposed to send that message to Washington, when it comes to protecting Texas’ gold.

A lawmaker has proposed a bill to create a Texas Bullion Depository, which would allow the state and its citizens to store gold bullion in its own facility in Texas, with the protection of the state.

Basically all of Wall Street these days consists of "legalized gambling" and "identify the stupid money."

Texas is advertising itself as having stupid money.

New York real estate agents working on commission say "thank you."

The first thing to cross my mind that Gold does go down and sometimes rather fast.

If you buy in when it's low ( I doubt it will drop under $500.00 USD /OZ because of inflation) fine...but if you buy in on the high side with pension funds!

My bad. I thought this was about sex. Like someone invented the gold finger for fingering women.

An artical hyping gold on a gold selling site, humm?

I saw this in another publication, but thought it like a lot of things Texan,

On the States "making gold legal tender," what is the exchange rate for "Utah dollars" to greenbacks?

If the Fed's won't let you grow dope, why would they let States mint currency?

Why would any private citizen want to put his gold in a public repository?

I do not know.

Maybe some businesses that would have no place to safely store it?

I have met some who looked remarkably innocent when the subject of rat holing gold came up.:)

It's safest when no one knows that you have it. I've seen mayo jars full of nuggets sitting on the shelf in a miner's cabin.
