The Flu

Sucks.

Or rather, blows.

My queasy stomach yesterday morning from a supposed rum hangover quickly turned into a wild 24-hour virus. The bathroom was my best friend. Even my temperature jumped up fairly high preventing any sort of comfortable rest last night.

Today? I'm weak and shaky, sipping gatorade and eating oyster crackers.

But no more temp, and I'm finally back on computer.

I suppose I should be thankful it was quick.

Anyone else feeling like they got hit by the flu truck?

Little spidey's got it. We went through the whole wild temp variations thing last night. I'm tired now, but thankfully, so far, flu-free.

Geez.

I figured you'd catch it from me, not little spidey.

(Give him extra snugs from me - I know how he's feeling.)

Will do. I think we're over the worst of it, thank goodness.

YOU take care of yourself.

Sorry to hear. Been there. You're right. The flu DOES suck (so do pneumonia, bronchitis, double pneumonia, chicken pox, and every other kind of illness).

Nope, haven't had the flu since I got vacinated for it back in the '70s. I got a severe case back then. Since then it hasn't bothered me what so ever. :D

I do however catch colds. Drinking lots of fluids and geting a lot of rest takes care of those. ;)

*Sigh*

Figuratively kicked in that sweet ass of yours? Amazing how crummy the flu can leave you feeling.

Hope you're feeling at least some better already, my friend ... pampered by the love of your family, encouraged by the progress.

For me ... thankfully it's not the flu truck, I'm recovering from bypass surgery. I was out of the hospital in four days. After near two weeks I'm still quite sore and it will take two months before my sternum heals to the point I can lift more than five pounds, but I'm feeling very encouraged and my endurance is returning.

Wishing you health, dear Sweetsubsarahh, and looking forward to your complete return to that deliciously naughty self.

Not a pretty sight but sure beats looking at an obituary, huh? ;)

Sky -

I have no words. Thank you for your caring concern, and thank you for sharing this pic. (I know we've spoken of your experience, but - oh my - words do not do it justice, do they?)

Stay strong, oh naughty one. Someone must be there to add more filthy pictures to your site!

I think it's my turn.

I'm chilled, have a headache, and I want my mama.
