Katrine sat down at the desk that was now hers. She had just started an Executive Assistant, at the Law firm that was reputed to be up and coming. "Executive Assistant" she laughed softly, "I'm a secretary."

She crossed her long, slender, tan legs under her desk as she set about puting her desk in order. She swiveled to turn on her computer. The red top she was wearing, strecthed taught across her ample busom and her long back hair shining in the new light from the screen.

She jumped nervously as the intercom on her desk beeped.

Marc

"Damn it." Since my last secretary left, I can't find anything. Not that she was any great secretary, but she was better than nothing. The new girl starts today. If I know our office manager she will be some old woman who is ready for social security. Sometimes I think the office manager does that on purpose. Gives the young partners the old, ugly secretaries. Oh well, as long as she can type.

What the hell is the new girl's name??? It must be on a memo around here somewhere. One of those things I can't find. Shit, I'll just buzz her and find out her name.

"Hello?!?! Is anybody out there yet???"

Katrine stared at the intercom for a few seconds.

She laughed at herself and hit the button, "Yes sir was there something I could do for you?"

Katrine laughed internally, probably some old geezer who needs me to dictacte something.

Marc

"Yes, can you please come in here right away." What does she think I just buzzed her for the hell of it?? Of course there is something she can do for me. This is probably going to be one of those secretaries that doesn't make it to lunch, I think as I continue to look around my desk for the documents I need for the deposition later that day.

I look up as she enters my office and says, "What can I help you with?" I am struck first by her long black hair and red sweater. There has to be some mistake. The office manager would never intentionally hire me a secretary that looks like this. And what great legs.

"I'm sorry, I thought my new secretay would be there by now."

Katrine bites her lip to keep from laughing at the look on his face.

"Sir I am your new secretary." she smiles.

He looks at her dumbfounded, "You are?"

Katrine walks over, her hips swaying with unintentionaly seduction, and holds out her hand, "I'm Katrine sir, nice to meet you."

Marc

Katrine, that's her name. I wonder what kind of name that is I think to myself as I watch her walk over and introduce herself. I can't believe I'm getting a secretary that looks like this. I will have to send somebody a thank you.

"Nice to meet you Katrine. I'm Marc. As you can see things are a bit cluttered here and I can't find anything. I hope you have some good oganizational skills, because I obviously don't."

"Tell me what we're looking for and I'll help find it."

"It is a stack of documents for my afternoon deposition. It is in a rubber band and has a big yellow sticker on the front"

"You mean the one that is being used as a coaster for your coffee cup?" she says coyly.

"See you already deserve a raise. Tell me about your experience." I say as I look her up and down again, noticing the tan legs and the way she carries herself..

Katrine smiles and starts to stack the papers on his desk into more orderly piles.

"Well I'm going to law school, so I'm here to learn and earn money to pay for it." She smiled at him, "Obviously I take night classes."

He's pretty young, she thought admirably. Young and good looking. She smiled at him again.

Oh great, a law student for a secretary. Probably thinks she knows more than I do and will want to second guess everyting I do. Oh well, she is a lot better looking than the last one.

"Law School, that's great. But you know this job requires working late sometimes. Hope that won't be a problem? I am a fairly recent partner, so I still work alot of hours. But we will try to work around your sehedule. I remember what school was like, so if you need help just ask"

Katrine smiled, "Thank you, I only take a couple of classes a week. Taking it slow and all since I graduated early."

She sensed his wariness about her wanting to be a lawyer as well, "Don't worry I won't tell you how to do your job...unless your doing it wrong." She teased him.

"Was that all you needed sir?"

"Well now that you found my documents I an get rady for my afternoon deposition. There is some dictation in the box out there left over from my last secretary. You can get started on that. When I get back this afternoon we can talk about how best to work together."

As she walks out of the office I watch her hips sway in a very suggestive manner, or was I just wishing and hoping that was what I was seeing. I find it difficult to concentrate, thinking about Katrine.

This may be a problem, Katrine thought, he's to good looking. I was hoping for a crocthety old man. She smiled and grabbed the dictation. She sat down at her desk and began working on it.

The day past by quickly and before she knew it , it was almost over.

Walking back into the office after the deposition saw Katrine bending over the bottom file cabinet. Damn.

"Katrine, I want to talk to you but after this afternoon I really need a drink. Do you ever drink with your boss?"

Katrine straightened up and smoothed down her top and skirt. Her curves for a moment become more noticable. "Well I'll drink with my boss but I don't drink Alcohol" she smiled.

"Ok. Whatever you like. Is there anything urgent that is going to explode before morning?? If not give me ten minutes to run through the mail and check my messages and then meet me across the street at the bar."

Doesn't drink, huh. That is interesting. Probably better that way. I check the messages and see nothing that can't wait. I walk out of my office but Katrine has already left.

Katrine sat at the bar, nursing her shirley temple. She smiled when she saw him and waved him over, "I ordered you a Manhattan. I didn't know what you liked so I gave a guess."

she looked him up and down, his tie now askew and the top few buttons of his shirt open.

She crossed her tan legs as she sat at the bar, "Sit down if you like" she smiled

"A Manhattan? I think my grandfather who founded the firm drank those." About that time the bartender, Deidre, came over with my usual Stoli and soda with a lime. "Saw you come in and you looked like you needed one of these--maybe a couple" she said.

"No doubt. Deidre, this is Katrine, she is my new secretary." Deidre raised an eyebrow, as she is also a friend and no doubt wondered how I would handle such a good looking secretary.

"Katrine, what a pretty and unusual name" Deidre said as she took away the manhattan and set down the stoli.

"Thank you" Katrine smile. "I was named after my father's mother, sort of...my mother hated my grandmother so instead of Katherine, they took out a few letters and came up with Katrine." She smiled at the bartender then turned back to her boss.

"So were should we start?"

"You don't fool around do you," I said, realizing the bad choice of words right away.

"As you already saw, I am an orgainizational disaster, but I am a litigtion whiz. I made partner quicker than most, and not just because my grandfather's portrait hangs in tha lobby. I am a tough taskmaster and expect my secretary to keep up with my pace. I hope that doesn't intimidate you. I also hope you ahve a boyfriend that understands late nights sometimes and weekends, too."

As I talk I cannot help but notice her beautiful legs and the way she has them crossed.

Katrine raises an amused brow.

"Well I don't fool around with my work, no" she grins. "And I don't have a boyfriend at the moment"

She looks down and notices he is looking at her legs. She uncrosses them and crosses them again looking for a reaction

David

OOC: Heheh, It's just me, Invader of the Closed Threads. Is this a closed thread? Tell me if it is.

IC: A man had just sat down next to the couple. His tawny blond hair looked slightly ruffled, but not out of place. His broad jawline accentuated his rugged features. Cheekbones that were more defined evry time he moved his lips. And eyes, dark brown, and piercing, that always seemed to be moving and observing. They examined the attractive woman who was seated there and then turned to the man.
"Marc. I'm David Francois. We did litigation together at Harvard. I've just been transferred to the firm. I remember that your grandfather was one of the original partners" he made a kind of half-smile. He seemed a bit out place. He seemed more like an artist or a surfer than a lawyer.

Katrine smiled at the man who had sat down next to them and held out her hand, "Hello David, I'm Katrine. I'm Marc's new secretary."

The man was good looking she had to give him that. There were some pretty attractive male lawyers at this firm, she thought

David

David looked at the Katrine, the piercing eyes roaming across her body. He took in the long, tanned legs, the curves of her hips and her chest and then looked into her eyes. He stared into them for a few seconds until he was interrupted by a loud cough from Marc. "Hello Katrine" he said, extending his hand to hers. He then turned to Marc. "And Katrine would be your girlfriend?" he inquired

Even though she had told David she was Marc's secretary, she knew that men often dated them, so instead of correcting him she waited for Marc's answer with amusement. Her green eyes dancing.

Marc

"No, just my secretary." I said, thinking that it was too early to tell where that type of thing might lead.

"She just started today and we were talking about how I like things done. How about another round?? One is not going to do it tonight."

As the next round appeared I started to relax and was glad the day was over. No boyfriend, that is interesting.

"So why did you last your last job, Katrine?"

"Because my father owned the company" Katrine answered sipping her Shirly Temple, "He wanted me to be a doctor, but I wanted to go into law so when I graduated he cut me off."

Katrine's thoughts then went to a more erotic nature as the men conversed with small talk for a bit. She licked her lips as she pretended to listen
