The EVIL History of our Education System (Documentary)

Oh....right.....that sounds authentic, objective and non biased.

As soon as the word "evil" is mentioned, you can easily dismiss the bullshit

Word to the wise - people who want to give you education will provide information, not opinion. Videos are a providing of opinion and perspective.

I watched the whole thing so you don't have to. While some of his historical observations are not technically wrong, the whole "documentary" is just an infomercial for the creator's get-rich-quick scheme:

"Don't waste your time being brainwashed by public schools and universities! Pay me a small fee and I'll teach you how to get a well-paying stay-at-home job. Don't be a sheep! Click the square on the screen to buy now!"

Teens on average have more than 3 hours of homework a night. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for after-school fun or even sleep. Now experts are questioning whether the amount of homework is leading to harmful levels of stress in teens.

No Child Left Behind prompted public schools to focus more on rote memorization than on creative problem-solving.

Not everything that is familiar and commonplace is good. What passes for "education" in much of the world has a very real, very negative aspect to it that most people never even think about.

There is only one main reason ANY school should be in existence, self-learning, learning how to learn. facts of history (real facts, not the biased, twisted, tweaked and sanitized stuff so many want taught) should be taught. But the largest part of a school's curriculum should be constructed to teach kids how to learn and how to think critically. I think this guy said it best:

ahhhhhh 95 percent of the teaching industry does not follow your rules

Incorrect. But it's good that you admit that you don't understand education
Your as slippery and a liar like Joe Chuckie and Nancy, however the education industry is what we are talking about and its quite evident you have not been near a college or public school is say maybe 60 year or your deaf and dumb or both

I talk to both teachers and parents of students daily from both the private and public sector. You are biased and believe what you read on the internet.

Do you mean you’re instead of your?

Only problem with that is that he isn't wrong. You are.

It's called the school to prison pipeline and it's a national trend where children are funneled out of public schools and into the juvenile and criminal justice systems.

Yes, there should not be cops in schools. Too much money is spent on the police. Fire a bunch of cops and hire more teachers and social workers instead.

Our educational system is not perfect, and there are some changes, but I don't see any improvements. I'm a student, and I like my university and what I study, but I think that there are too many tasks, and some of them are not that useful and will not help me with my future career. Sometimes I can do my homework or learn something until late at night, and of course, I feel tired and stressed. I use a lot of different extra educational resources and they help me but still not enough. Some time ago I also started using the help of https://essays.edubirdie.com/nursing-essay-writing-service from time to time, and such help is really beneficial for me. Everyone knows I think that writing tasks are hard and take a lot of time, so when I understand that I need help, I'll use it.
I'm a second-year uni student, and I spend sometimes more than 3 hours on my homework and learning.
And yes, there is a direct connection between it and stress, because sometimes I have no time to do everything except for studies.
