The Elf Princess

Ashton grinned, then kissed back. He put his arms around her, holding her close. "Morning. Yeah, a shower would be a good idea."

She smiled at him as he held her.

"To bad you weren't up earlier, we could have taken one together"

The thought of this made Sebeen smile.

"Well Sir, the shower is all yours"

Ashton grinned, then stretched. "I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast."

Sebeen kissed him again and smiled.

"Yes, I guess it is time to face my Father and put our plan into effect with my ladies"

She hugged him and left the room. Going to her closet to take out a pale pink dress. She put it on shook out her hair which fell into its natural place, heloing her face. She left the room and walked to the diningroom with no fear in her heart. She was ready to face her Father.

Ashton got in the shower, and quickly washed up. His hair was easily washed, and his body was clean in a few minutes. Then he got out of the shower, dried off quickly, and headed out to collect his clothes. He got dressed, and went downstairs, having remembered at the last minute to shut off the shower and light.

Her father sat at the table, watching her walk in. He had had a sort of breakfast feast prepared.

Sebeen raised her brow when she saw all the food. She would not ask her Father what this was all about, she had already guessed. She sat down a little overwhemed by it all.

"Good morning, Father"

Ashton walked downstairs, and headed for the dining hall. He saw the spread of food, and shook his head slightly, walking over and sitting down beside her.

Her father looked at them. "So, how was your night?"

Sebeen looked at Ashton, not believing what her Father had just said. Then she looked at him.

"Fine just fine, Father"

Ashton raised an eyebrow, then shook his head, and looked at the food. Sebeen's father smiled. "So, what about you two?"

Sebeen looked at her Father with no expression on her face.

"Whatever do you mean Father"

Her father smiled. "Nothing at all dear. So, will Ashton be staying with us?"

Sebeen knew exactly what her Father was getting at but would not give him the satisfaction of yelling at him. She was a stubborn elf afterall.

"Well Father, that is entirely up to Ashton what he does. He may stay abit but then his home will probably beckon him back. Am I right Ashton"

Ashton looked up, and shrugged. "I haven't decided yet." It was a lie, of course. He would stay with Sebeen no matter where she decides to go. But her father didn't need to know that.

Sebeen smiled at Ashton and then turned to her Father with no expression.

"So Father, what is new in the kingdom"

She deliberately used a most calm tone waiting to see how her Father would react.

Her father raised an eyebrow, then shrugged. "We have some human visitors, come here for silverwork."

Sebeen almost laughed, she placed her hand over her mouth and made believe she was coughing.

"Sorry Father, hum humans for silverwear you say, how did they hear of our great craftmen"

Her father smiled. "Yes, they want silverware, and some stuff for millionaires, or something."

She looked at her Father questioningly.

"Where are they now Father, maybe Ashton would like to talk with them"

She looked at Ashton to see what he wanted to do.

Ashton shook his head, eating breakfast. Her father smiled. "I think he'd rather be protecting you."

When Ashton shook his head, Sebeen smiled happy that he would rather stay with her. Her Father put her own thoughts in words. It seemed that Ashton like it here with her. Sebeen put some food on her plate, hungry finally. She had missed quite a few meals of late. She began eating giving Ashton pleasant looks from time to time.

Ashton smiled, watching her eat. She hadn't eaten like that in a while, he guessed. The food was excellent too, which made him feel better.

Sebeen finished her breakfast and looked up at Ashton who seemed to be smiling at her with approval. She hadn't realized he had noticed her eating had been sparce for a few days. She smiled at him and looked at her Father.

Ashton smiled, then finished his breakfast. Her father smiled approvingly at her appetite, then stood up. "I have affairs of state to handle. Will you two be ok alone?"

When her Father excused himself, Sebeen smiled at Ashton.

"I think we were worried for nothing, he did not even mention a wedding. I mean how could he, then he would have to admit he watched us. We did the right thing by acting like nothing happened"
