That said... I've not read either of those books, though I've been offered the loan of 50 Shades. I have read the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty trilogy and The Story of O.

You don't state your age, only that you are a teenager. I'm going to assume that you are 18 (I saw you mention that in a later post?). You are young darlin'. It's normal and healthy to be curious. As to your question... I think that yes, some of it is due to age and being still sexually innocent. The mind will conjure up all sorts of fantasies. first off, you need to read a lot more than 50 shades of grey. not judging. i started out on vc andrews. you'll find a library of books over on the BDSM forum. if you're seriously asking how the people on the GB started out, that would probably deserve a new thread. most of the people in her are fucked.
