Abita Prurple Haze is a raspberry ale.
Just a hint of raspberry. I wouldn't know it if it didn't say so on the label.

I used to drink rose' years ago. Now it's almost always Cabernet when I drink wine.
;)

Love all reds, but it's summer, dude! My go to red is montepulciano d'abruzzo which is a basic Italian table wine. Tro some in the sauce, drink the rest.

Rose is crisp and I tend towards drier ones. People tend to think that because it's pink it is sweet, and I am always explaining its crisp. It puckers the mouth.
I'm drinking a local grape now. Quite good.

Edit: I really never say "tend" and lookit me now!

I'm posting here because I'm drunk. My drinking is a very rare occurrence and I know I shall regret it tomorrow morning when I have to get up to go to work (yes, I work on weekends as well as weekdays, because that's what being a 'fat cat business owner' actually means for the majority of us, despite what the bloody Daily Mail tells you, my friends).

But the events of today have warranted the consumption of alcohol to deaden the unpleasant emotions I have been feeling. Budweiser has been my tipple of choice. As much as my stomach can accommodate.

And to brighten the mood. I've been watching Glastonbury with the family. Enjoyed Half Moon Run who I've never heard of before. And Proteje are always good. Foals were okay but I find them a bit empty. ZZ Top were okay too, but they looked as though it was a great effort to play.

And I enjoyed Bastille, despite hubby's mutterings about privileged rich kids....so I've left him watching Sigur Ros who he adores. We went to see them live many years ago and he got irritated because they were so soothing I fell asleep in my seat

My head's spinning..

Water, lol.

Or another beer.

Some beer this afternoon and then with dinner. Afterwards a couple or three dirty martinis while watching an old Marilyn Monroe movie. She hold up well after 50 years. Very much the sex kitten.

Are you okay CnC? :(

I have paperwork all night.
Imma start some day drinking. :)

Rosay. 'Cause I can't do the accent thingy and spell it right.

Watching GOT. I am almost caught up for tomorrow. A friend is making me watch it.
'Cause it is goooood.

Spent 2 hours on the phone with my best GF from age 15. We met on a desk... back in the day you would write on desks and have "desk convos". Remember NOTES? Like... I'll write you a note in study hall?
Anyay, the poll on the desk was:
METALLICA, RULZ or SUKS?

This was 1985, folks.

OMG, stones. An ole room mate of mine wentvthru that. Here's hoping it passes quickly, CnC!

Tonight is Cabernet night. I'm just opening a bottle.
