Immensely smooth, AF. Smoothest I've had. But then again, I usually drink what my pocket book can afford. I splurged on this one.

I received two nice bottles of Bourbon and one nice single malt Scotch from my children over the holidays. It's what I ask for. I haven't touched any of them yet. I'll savor them slowly throughout the year. The Single Malt is a Glenlivet 15, it looks so nice sitting there on the shelf.

I don't usually buy the expensive stuff for myself. Unless I get an especially large commission check that is. When that happens, I do sometimes reward myself with a top shelf bottle.

I'll do wine. If I can. I've been sick.

We will walk tonight. In the snow.

Keys in the bowl, please.

Here. Here are my keys. I'm going nowhere tonight, 'cept where my feet take me.

What kind of wine?

^^^^
Love it!

Tonite's scotch selection. Already gave it a test run. Next one will be neat, rather than an ice cube added.

Had two jiggers or so already. Had to try it when I got home.

Yeah, no we don't have to go out. We can just fire up the fireplace and sit around.

I'm getting ready to mix a cranberry Moscow mule...Which has been my favorite holiday cocktail this year.

Cranberry simple syrup 1/2 oz
Splash of cranberry juice
Vodka 1 1/2 oz
Juice of 1/2 lime
Ginger beer. 2 oz (Cock and bull is fabulous, but Reed's is good too)

Add ice. Garnish with a slice of orange.
If you are being really fancy, add sugared cranberries to your garnish.

Drink it up yum! :D

Sounds like a wedding punch. What does it taste like?

I made the terrible mistake of drunk texting my friend with this last night:

Now there are several things wrong with this:

  1. I don't drink often. So apparently when I drink, I turn into a moron.
  2. My friend is a girl.
  3. I am straight.

Delicious, refreshing, a little sweet, but the ginger beer gives it a bite that cuts the sweet.
I like a regular Moscow mule which has no cranberry, so I would say this has the tart bit that cranberry offers. It does not taste like punch. IMO.

I rarely mix anything with my booze except for air unless it's a gin and tonic. Those are sacrosanct. Your mule thing sounds tasty.

Love G&T
I'm a blue sapphire girl.
And I'm beginning to get picky about my mixer too. Lol

I rarely make drinks that require this many ingredients...It's a holiday thing...:)
