A quick search of the Googles produced this article from craftbeer.com. Author Heather Galanty posits that there are 10 watermelon beers one must try. Skeptical cat is skeptical. I'm familiar with 21st Amendment Brewery in San Fran and Horny Goat in Milwaukee. I typically trust those two breweries, but I don't know much about the other ten in her list. In any event, these are definitely not lambics; they are typically wheat beers with watermelon added in at some point in the process. So, adjunct beers.

These beers do not appeal to me, but I'm sure they will find a market. I prefer a kolsch or a pils or a classic blonde, and then my fresh fruit on the side. But to each their own, I guess.

I actually love wheat beer. Maybe I'll hang with CnC and convince her to try it again.
