The day has come to diet

I think you're expecting way too much of yourself. Slow and steady wins the race. It's a cliche, sure, but it's also true.
If you are making lifestyle changes, then doing them all - thump! - at once may be a little overwhelming, not only for your body but for you emotionally. Also, when you have little setbacks, it's easier to just drop the whole thing, whereas you can say, "Okay, I had too much chocolate, but I stopped before I ate the whole thing/exercised anyway/made healthier choices after..." whatever affirmation you can tag on to the end. Even if it's just that you learned from it.
I weigh in every Monday. Retaining water? If it's not gone by Monday evening, too bad.
Feeling - uh - blocked? Tough. It'll show up next week.
I do it because it's so easy to lapse - one week I didn't make Monday. Know when I weighed in? Friday.
Now I just skip the week and keep going.
No matter what happens, I always face the music.
I'm planning on building exercise back in in the same way.
Ugh.
And if you need a little boost or some extra support, PM me.
:)

Does anyone know of a weight ticker better than this one? Whenever I update it I have to choose it all over again. That's why the number jumps.

I like this one 3 fat chicks weight tracker When I update it I just go into my sig line and change my current weight.

BTW, the above site is a great resource for diet and exercise support and info. They have forums and a journal feature.

Thanks. You know, back when the Weight Watchers site was new they had a link to 3FCChat. Now I get to see the site! Thanks!
I also like the fact that they are blocking pro-ana sites from getting it.
