A showcase of Russian robotic weapons technology, likely aided by China.

A new arms race is here.

Police departments across the nation are investing in robotics, using them to reduce the danger to personnel.

“…primarily to support our SWAT teams on calls for service against barricaded suspects or on high risk felony warrants…”

Huston, you have a problem?

I fully expect the future of warfare is mostly one nation's bots fighting against another nation's bots.

Though shall not fuck thyself?

(Playing off of the ultra-conservative viewpoint on touching ones' self [self-harm], save that for your sister meme/vibe)

Where robotic weapons aren’t used, AI driven androids can be.

Tesla’s Optimus 2 is an AI driven android and Elon Musk has predicted that he will have 20,000 of them working in his factories by 2025 and will be able to produce them by the millions by 2027, possibly for as little for as little as $20k each.

Check out this video - especially the second half.

Are we engineering Armageddon?

“AI’s often use deception to improve results”

“…deceptive behavior increases with AI capabilities.”

“Two $500 drones recently destroyed an Abrams tank.”

Tesla doesn't have either autonomous driving technology or autonomous humanoid robots. This whole video is just marketing fluff.

"Manhattan Project" ... This is just a marketing pitch for bigger government funding for AI.

Do they have something that can drive to a destination with no human inside? That's the real test!

Yes. Those exist. Think about it.

Waymo driverless taxis.

Q:

I've noticed that there was no vehicle operator in the front seat. Are some of your vehicles fully autonomous?

A:
Yes. Our Waymo One vehicles are fully autonomous. That means that on most occasions, no one is in the driver’s seat when you ride with us.

I've never actually seen one of those. Are they on the streets yet?
Yes they drive through my neighborhood all the time. When I'm out walking I make I make a point of fucking with them--tricking them into doing 3-point turns in the middle of the street--stuff like that.
