China is switching to Australia to supply their beef. A lot of longtime trade partners will be looking at new arrangements that circumvent the U.S. These new arrangements may well endure after the next administration drops the Trump tariffs.
 
Trump has head so far up his ass, he is not getting any oxygen to his brain. He reminds me of my father who was completely demented before he died.

China has also switched to Brazil for soy beans. Thats a couple of billion dollars american farmers aren't gettimg anymore from China

Smithfield pork/foods was purchased by the wh group a Chinese conglomerate. Smithfield is the largest pork producer in the United States.... there isn't any tariff on Smithfield pork because the Chinese own the pork and the company. Also China has a very large population to feed, make no mistake about this China is purchasing American agriculture products it's just being "routed" through a third party..... the financial term for this is (I believe) daisy chain.....
