Yes I already posted about it :The appearance of the near side of the moon, always facing us, is considerably different from that of the far side.

The far side
A theory that there was once two moons orbiting Earth and that one impacted the other, might explain the difference. As well as explaining why the moon is a bit lopsided, it could account for the difference in chemical composition of the two sides.
