I just heard we actually have more grey wolves in Europe than in US these days. Which is quite well considering Europe is MUCH more densely populated. We don't have as vast widlernesses as the US does.

This is also relatively recent development - it wasn't so a few decades ago. Europe is being rewilded.

I would imagine Europe doesn’t have the paranoid herding industry we have here.

Erm, well... We have unfortunately plenty oof paranoia at least in Finland. And in one of the greatest wilderness, Lapland, wolves are not protected. Only south of that ares.

And some countries have no wolves at all. The areas are patchy.
