The Construction Thread

If you don't pump clean air into that thing, it will fog up and you won't be able to see a damn thing.

I was wondering about that. All my visors have had a tendency to fog up. Even fairly open ones.

When racing I started with helmet visor up by a finger's width. It would self close at 100 mph.

My old boss in sheet metal would price a job real fucking low and cross fingers for time and material jobs to make a profit.

Nobody will see the orange stripe after the drywall goes up.

I dunno, but I'd guess that's the general area where a spread footing will bear. The Foamular (purple polystyrene) is probably a lower density than the Dow Styrofoam (light blue polystyrene). At least, they are both extruded materials and not expanded.

Uh, oh.

If my eyes don't deceive me, that would appear to be an upside down 400-ton Komatsu ( Liebherr ?) hauler. That's really not a good idea. It is, in fact, a genuine problem.

The Land Cruiser guy is just sizing it up. I think he can use a pair of snatchum straps to pop her back upright.
