Makes me wonder if C & _O_ aren't cardiologists. We all know that cardiologists are required to have their sense of humor surgically removed during their residencies. Or maybe CPAs. They were uniformly *born* without a sense of humor.

Okay, I saw some of the bantering about these two and a bit of their posts to each other. I knew the spirit of the thread (hint, there wasn't likely any hate involved - just making a place for the two so they have somewhere to go rather than going into every random thread). I didn't really have much of an opinion either way... until this post.
If someone online has the ability to "force" a person to do anything (outside of hackers maybe infecting your PC), then you seriously need to step away. People get upset, sure. I understand that. However, from what I've seen, it was all the equivalent of someone saying "Get a room!" when two people are making out at a party or something.
If someone said such a thing, would they be forcing the couple to leave the party?

So I guess we need a sticky where every new person should sign in so everyone here can send them a welcoming PM? Would you really want a hundred PMs from people you don't know? And once you mandate all to send one don't they kind of lose their meaning?
