No the cabin is in Southern California, off of the Grapevine. Tahone Ranch. It was my first time at my Father's cabinKcar said:These were taken at the cabin then? This is a desert area?? It's lush for the desert! How often do you get over there?
Have you gotten bigger shots of the trees in your yard yet?![]()

yeah it's perdy cool and that sounds like it was a hoot to watch those ducks too.. i wanted to put a fountain in the front yard this year, but may not be able too because the one i want cost more than my pocket book wants to spend lol....Kcar said:This is so cool...that you have these returning ducks to your place. We had a couple of Mallards who returned for many years to our neighborhood, also, and they were so fun to watch!
I have a (fairly large) low cement urn in my front yard, and they used to stop by everyday to drink from it. They always crossed the same yards to get to our large birdbath...we don't know where they laid their eggs, but they continually led their little babies up and down our street every summer...it was the sweetest thing! Dad was very protective of both mother and ducklings. ^_^

(((Crazy))) nice to see you over here, I love the peonies, so pretty!!!crazybbwgirl said:Yeah spring pictures!!! The ducks are too cute. My friend has a small creek in her backyard and she has a Mallard pair come nest nearby every year too.
Here's some spring pics of last year... nothing really blooming here yet. All the daffodils came up and then it snowed... I'm not sure if my peonies are going to make it this year.
