God is a flaming comet.

I am honestly curious to hear the opinions of people who believe the church is under attack in the United States. Have you been discriminated against? Have you been banned from partaking in certain inalienable rights?

As in the church of Holy Mother Russia? The church of Rome? The community church down the street? The Westboro Baptist church?

Oh neci and your nesticles.

The church has been "under attack" since religion was first invented. Though some instances were more legit than others.

I am definitely for losing the Westboro Baptist church somehow.

I just want a separation of church and state and tax those that are basically running businesses in the name of religion.

A nice Greek roast chicken with lemon potatoes would be nice right about now.

Some people cannot distinguish between a question and an attack.

The only churches under attack in the US are mosques and Unitarian Chapels that let local Muslims use the facility.

I would really like that too. But the good book is so misinterpreted and mistranslated that it will probably never happen.

i know.

on a side note, it was so cool to read about the organic matter found on the comet! comet adam and eve the earth. bam! now there shall be life.

Many Christians don't know a thing about their own religion, let alone other religions. Sikhism is a good example of a religion that stumps many Christians.

I never felt restricted, but I've pissed off more than one nun when I was young. I went away from the Catholic church because certain aspects of its represented beliefs went against some of my core beliefs. I was raised with a picking and choosing of what was right about the church's practices. My departure was inevitable and expected.

Historically, the church has been more of the attacker than the attackee.
