The chase

Eldar slipped down to the bed and pulled Raven to him. He held her tight and kissed her passionately. Then he looked into her eyes with a hint of sorrow.

"I am so glad you are safe Raven. I do not know what would have happened if I did not get to you. Now, I'm just glad that you are back in my arms. I am going to take steps to make sure that nothing like that happens again. We need to go to town today so I can pick up some supplies that are needed to make this happen. So, lets get ready to go my pet."

Eldar once more pulled Raven close to him. Feeling her firm breasts against his chest. The feel of the heat coming from her body and the thump of her heart against him. Eldar was truely happy that he had given Raven that collar. He knew that was the only thing that saved both of their lives. That and her undieing devotion and love for him as well as his for her.

He kissed her one more time and then rolled out of bed. He stayed in this room often so he knew there were clean cloths in the closet. He walked over and opened it to find some cloths for himself.

"There may be something in here that will fit you my pet. We are going shopping today, so we will get you several outfits to your liking. So if you can't find anything in here that soots you, I'm sure you'll be happy with something from the shops."

Eldar pulled a pair of pants and a tunic from the closet and got dressed. He watched Raven walk over to the closet as well. His eyes following her every move. The way her hips swayed as she walked. He looked away with a shake of his head. She was so beautiful and graceful. For a second he thought about abandoning his plans for town and to just throw her back on the bed and spend the rest of the day and night with her in his arms. But, keeping her safe was a bigger priority for now. Besides that, he wanted to spoil her a little. Just because she deserves to be spoiled a little.

Despite Ravens happiness to be back in her true Masters arms, there was a hint of saddness that lingered in her thoughts. Luathas was gone. And she had no idea if he would ever return. His task was done, there was nothing more to keep him here by her side and he did, after all, have the choice to stay or leave when he wished it.

"He had no intentions on killing me Master. He... he touched me and found that I was still wet from the orgasm you gave me. He was going make me his."

Raven could barely speak of what had happen, let alone now speak of much anything without breaking out into tears knowing that her beloved companion has left.

"And...... and Luathas has left..."

choked back the sob that almost escaped her lips as she stood up and walked towards the closet. There really wasn't anything that caught her interest in there, couldn't wait to get some clothes of her own instead of trying to put together old used stuff, taking a chance on it fitting or not. Once more she gave up and pulled out a simple tunic and pants. The tunic was a little to big for her, but with the right adjustments Raven made it look good on her.

"Your friend probably thinks I'm pretty rude. I need to apologize for the way I acted towards him. I was scared and you were not here, so I may have seemed a bit harsh to him. I am sorry Master..."

Raven bowed her head for a moment, not wanting to look into his eyes right now. Afraid that she offended Luclin and since he was Eldars friend, it was possible that it could have offended him as well.

Eldar walked up to Raven and lifted her head up by her chin.

"Luclin is not upset with you and neither am I. You are a Dark Elf in a land that doesn't have much love for your race. He completely understand why you were scared. He took no offense from you being causious. But none the less, I think you should thank him for the things he has done for you."

Eldar pulled Raven close to him and kissed her. He could not get enough of her in any way.

"I am sorry about Luathas. I'm sure he will not be gone for good. He probably just needs a little bit of time on his own. He knows that he is welcome to come and go as he pleases. He will most likely show up at the castle when you least expect it. He knows that you still love him. And, if you need him I'm sure I can send Squawk out to look for him."

Eldar held Raven close to him for a couple minutes. He caressed her face with his hand and stroked her hair back so he could look at her beautiful face. There were a few tears on her face so he kissed them away.

"Let's go down stairs my pet, Luclin is most likely waiting for us to make an appearance."

Eldar reached down and grabbed Raven's hand. Then he opened the door and pulled Raven with him as he walked down the stairs into the main room to find Luclin sitting by the fire drinking some brandy.

"Greeting Luclin", Eldar said with a smile.

Luclin stood up and both of them bowed to each other.

"Greeting to you Eldar and to you as well Raven.", Luclin said as he bowed to Raven.

"Before anything else is said I must tell you some sad news Raven. Luathas decided he needed to have some time on his own to get his thoughts straight. He told me that when he is ready he will come to Eldar's castle to meet up with you once again. He said that he trusts Eldar to take care of you."

"Before he left he told me the story of you two. It seems now the two of you must keep each other safe. And, it seems I must also help in this task. He told me if one of you dies then the other one dies as well. So, since Eldar is a very dear friend of mine, then you are as well Raven. You are welcome in my home at any time."

Listened as Eldar told her that her kind was not very welcomed here and that just made her all the more cautious of this place. Granted with Eldar here, nothing would harm her, still, the thoughts of not being welcomed lingered. Always being watched as if waiting for her to do something that would give the slightest reason to.......

Slightly hid behind Eldar as Luclin spoke, that was part of the story she didn't know. Raven knew if her Master died, she would too, but not the other way around as well. Raven didn't let that bother though, for now her thoughts were really else where.

"I know about Luathas... The connection we have told me. There is nothing keeping him here now, he needs to find another purpose before he can come back to me. If he so chose to return."

Looked into luclins' eyes for a moment, unsure of what to really say to him.

"I .... I wish to apologize for the way I have been acting... It's just.. I' am not used to being in places I know I do not belong in or welcomed."

"I thank you for everything you have done for me and Luathas though. There isn't enough out there to repay you for all you have done, so if there is ever anything you need of me, I will do it with out question."

Raven was still unsure of things, slightly hiding behind Eldar and holding tightly onto his hand. She didn't want to be scared, just couldn't help it right now. Took her gaze down to the floor for a moment realizing she hasn't eatened since breakfast.

"I am still a little hungry.... I am sorry I did not come down earlier, I... I was not thinking clearly."

"Ahhh, yes some food", replied Luclin, "I'll have my cook whip something up in no time. I think maybe we could all eat something. Excuse me while I go talk to him now"

Luclin walked back to the kitchen area. Eldar sat down in a big soft chair next to the fire and pulled Raven to his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and smiled at her.

"You look so very beautiful my pet. I have big things in store for you tonight. I am going to make it so you will be resistant to all magic except for your own. Which means you will be resistant to even my magic. But, I would rather have you safe then have my magic or anyone else's magic have any power over you."

Luclin walked back into the main room and said there was a deer roast coming shortly with some patatos and gravy.

"That sounds good. We are going in to town after we eat Luclin, would you like to accompany us? There are some things I need to get and Raven could really use some new cloths."

"I'd love to join you, I think there are some things I need as well"

Raven smiled as she sat in his lap and listened to what he had to say about what he was going to do tonight. At first she wasn't quite sure how to feel about being resistant to his magic, was about to ask if that meant everything, even the good spells such as the one he casted on her to allow her to talk to the forest. Or the protecting sheilds he had.

Just when she was about to Eldar these things Luclin came back mentioning what was for dinner. Then the thought of going out there into town as a dark elf stirred in her thoughts, Raven just knew everyone would be staring at her. Even if she was with Eldar and Luclin, deep down she knew these people would not accept her easily. Though, instead of trying to get out of it and stay here in the castle where it was safe, Raven stayed silent for now lost in her own thoughts about what will happen when she steps out that door, also thinking about everything that had happened.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Luathas fell asleep for almost an hour and woke up to the growls of hunger within him. Normally he hunted at night, but this time he didn't have Raven by his side and also he did not know this area at all. Slowly got up and stretched before he left the cave to go hunt some dinner for himself.
The table was set by a few dwarves and then the food came shortly after that. Luclin sat at the head of the table. Eldar and Raven sat at the side next to each other. The servents poored a nice elven wine for everyone. The cook sliced off some roast for eveyone while the servents put a patato in each plate. A boat of gravy was set in the middle along with some butter, sour cream and chives.
Everyone ate and drank. There was small talk about what to expect in town. Eldar asked if there were many humans in the area and was told there were a few, along with a few human merchants. Eldar knew he would have to avoid them for the most part. He did not know if the story had been told about Raven and himself around these parts yet. He knew there wouldn't be a problem with the humans attacking him, but he didn't want his were abouts known. After tonight he didn't care, but for now Raven was still vulnerable. He would leave her here at Luclins villa, but he wanted her in his sight, no exceptions.
After they got done eating they all got up from the table and got there cloaks to head out to town. It was a short walk, so there wasn't really any need for the wagon. A couple of guards were invited to tag along for some extra protection if needed
Raven tried to protest about going out into town, for as much as she wanted and needed new clothes of her own, it seriously bothered her to go into a town where she knew full well people would be watching her every move. Made many excuses going from saying she didn't feel good all the way down to using the excuse of needing to stay here and wait for Luathas if he was to return. Eldar seemed to understand why Raven didn't want to go out, although, he still had her come none the less, requesting guards to walk with them if something was to happen.
The guards made her feel a little better, but she still held tightly onto Eldars' arm and half hid behind him. Being around many people was seriously not Ravens' idea of a good time. She felt the eyes of everyone on her some even whispered something to eachother as she walked down the road, deep down she knew they were talking about her but was nothing she could do about it. It wasn't until they went into the first shop that had clothes that caught Ravens' interest, that she began to relax just a little. The shop attendant was really sweet and helped Raven by getting clothes that she wanted and was a far better fit for her. A few things the attendant was even willing to make for Raven if they didn't have her size. Raven didn't know if it was because the guards and Luclin was here that made the shop keeper so attentive, but she didn't complain either. It didn't seem like that was the reason though, it seemed as if the female dwarf was just naturally kind.
There was little to none others in the shop and it eased Raven all the more till they went back outside after they were done. The Town was small yes and seriously not a whole lot on the streets like there would be in the human towns, it was although, enough to keep Raven alert and gain that unwanted feeling once more. This time instead of hiding behind Eldar and holding onto his arm, she only held tightly onto his hand, walking beside him as if they were just another couple enjoying the day hand in hand. Refrained herself from telling him how much she wanted to go back to Luclins place, not wanting to be a pain and possibly get punished for it later. Besides he already knew how much she didn't like being around other people so with that in mind it also kept her silent from the subject.
The next shop was for Luclin and again the shop keeper was pretty sweet, even though he did keep a close eye on Raven. He made it not completly obvious, but there were times when it was noticable that he was watching her. Raven also took notice of a scraggly human that took one look at Eldar, whispered something to the shop keeper and left the shop. Out the window Raven noticed how he ran off to somewhere, probably to tell his friends and talk trash about her, Even though it was Eldar that had his attention the most. It slightly made her wonder if news hit here already, she didn't think news went around that fast, wasn't impossible, none the less it just seemed all to soon if the story has hit this town.
