I'm posting a little project I've started and thought I'd post what I've got so far. My main project will end up being an animation of how PIV sex probably looks like based on data, studies and experiments done.

I'm far from being done, but I thought this first segment interesting enough to merit it's own topic. I've created a drawing (to scale) everything I have on male and female genitalia.

My motivation here is to quantify exactly why guys who boast about being so hung they hit a woman's cervix is absolute bullshit.

This first frame shows the penis and vagina dimensioned as accurately as I can:

http://inyourcunt.tumblr.com/post/17537885822/at-entry-with-dimensions

The second frame shows what happens when the penis is 2 inches inside:

http://inyourcunt.tumblr.com/post/17537907959/2-inches-in

This one is 4 inches inside:

http://inyourcunt.tumblr.com/post/17539237310/4-inches-in

This one is 6 inches in:

http://inyourcunt.tumblr.com/post/17537924225/6-inches-in

And finally, balls deep:

http://inyourcunt.tumblr.com/post/17537944846/balls-deep

Hopefully this explains clearly enough. If anyone has any comments or criticisms, please be as brutal as possible. This is the start of a massive project I've been wanting to do for years.

Footnote:

If you're curious, the data on vaginal internal dimensions are based on:

And finally, the penis was traced from a photograph.

But, if the penis has a curve, does that change the equation?

Very much so. If it curves upwards, in missionary, it may hit the g-spot more directly, but will probably come in contact with the cervix more easily as well. Likewise if it's curved downwards in doggy.

I'm in the process of animating the images I've drawn, my next project will be different movements, then different degrees of curvature/sizes.

I've always wondered what causes that. I've seen some porn where the male actor is literally bent like a banana.

I wonder if circumcision has anything to do with it? Perhaps the method of cutting is uneven.

You could have just as easily broken out the MRI video, so everyone could see exactly what you were talking about. :D

Of course, it's also kind of irrelevant because the cervix looks like this:
http://www.beautifulcervix.com/cervix-photo-galleries/
It's not like you could hit something round, anyway. Now, the fornix...

Oh, and I found out how they did the MRI video. The participants did, infact, have to stay still for scanning. It got animated like a cartoon or a gif image, though. That way, you can see the fucking in real time, rather than looking at tons of images.

There are two chambers along the top of the penis, and a whole lot of spongy tissue on the underside, that fill with blood in order to erect. One of them might be smaller than the other (or larger if you prefer to think of it that way) and the more the larger side expands, the more the dick is going to bend towards the other side. If there's a lot of the spongy tissue, it can swell up more than the top chambers do, and cause the penis to swoop upwards, or vicey versey if that tissue is sparse.

Human anatomy is way the fuck variable!

So what area would he be hitting when he's ball deep? Like, what would be the correct way to phrase what he's stabbing against?

It's most likely the fornix. That's the area around the cervix. Of course, it's also possible that it could hit something else, depending on position, penis length, curve, and alll that. The rectal wall is right near the vagina and parts of it certainly don't like getting pounded either.

It's unfortunate that all of those words are less sexy than cervix.

Good information all the same ;)

I do think it is important to know and understand the human body, but if someone says, "I was drilling her pussy so deep my cock left a dent in her fornix.". How many people would understand? :p

Neat project OP. I added this to my favorites so please update as you finish more work. :)

Interesting responses! I'm glad to have sparked someone's curiosity.

I've always wondered what causes that. I've seen some porn where the male actor is literally bent like a banana.

One of my future projects is to depict certain differences between genitals. Bigger dicks, curved, long, clits close to the introitus, tilted uterus, uncircumcised vs. circumcised. Add to that the motion component with angles and barrel shapes (legs up vs. legs down). So many thoughts.

I think you're thinking of Mark Ashley. Big dick, curved like a banana. I've always wondered how he pounded and still spared the girl of pain. Here's an example:

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzc6z5yiue1roy9v5o1_250.gif

...no pounding, but he's definitely working the g-spot with his curve.

I wonder if circumcision has anything to do with it? Perhaps the method of cutting is uneven.

It's a mild form of Peyronie's. Every guy has some mild form of it. It happens if we're right handed and jerk off in one direction.

The examples you've shown were mostly on my footnotes of sources. The reason I didn't snip cut from the MRI study is because it's been done. I'm taking a new approach with the data from the first and second paper done on the topic.

By building models, to scale, I find it easy to explain to people why certain things feel absolutely heavenly, and others just don't work.

There are two chambers along the top of the penis, and a whole lot of spongy tissue on the underside, that fill with blood in order to erect. One of them might be smaller than the other (or larger if you prefer to think of it that way) and the more the larger side expands, the more the dick is going to bend towards the other side. Beautifully explained! Same thing happens with labia when one "lip" seems to be larger than the other. It's all the trauma (slight to severe) that our body reacts to.

So what area would he be hitting when he's ball deep? Like, what would be the correct way to phrase what he's stabbing against?

Infinity706 explained it well. In this sketch:

http://www.bartleby.com/107/illus1166.html

The ring is shown cross section-wise. Anterior and posterior, but in reality he could have gone in at the wrong angle. Some women hate hate hate dick in their anterior fornix but are ok with it posterior. We're all different like snowflakes.

I do think it is important to know and understand the human body, but if someone says, "I was drilling her pussy so deep my cock left a dent in her fornix.". How many people would understand? :p

Sadly, I would.

Thanks!! I'm trying my hand at animating the sequence now and will hopefully learne enough soon.

I will also comment. The vagina is a fairly muscular sheath and may to some extent negate minor curves of the penis. In other words she can straighten you out. (G)

Interesting. My ex made that same comment, but the major curves and the "crowbarring" does take place if angles are severe enough.

In what context and from what experience do you come to this conclusion?

Very interesting, I'm learning my "something new everyday" thing already for today, and it's only 1am. :)

I don't think it's at all sad you know the proper terms for our bodies, I now know it too. Thank you. (And thanks to the PP who explained it too.)

Keep up the good work, what a fun subject to study. I've researched some on the differences between circumcised and uncircumcised. I'm curious to hear what your findings on that aspect will be.

I meant to answer this one. If the guy slams in and out and in and pulls out enough to let the cervix occupy the space the shaft left behind, it gets in the way of the in-stroke once again.

Think of the speed bag boxers hit. Bang bang bang. A fist is round-ish and so is the speed bag. Collision and pain do occur.

I know the MRI study has been done, but unlike a scientific research lecture where you can just refer to some journal article everyone's probably read already, normal people don't have any idea what you're talking about. :D

I doubt you're right about the cervix. I doubt that the pain receptors it has would be sensitive to something like being hit with a penis, though. The vagina doesn't even feel pain at all and a woman's privates are built for fucking. It seems more likely that the pain receptors would be set up to only notice if something attempts to enter the cervix or something's likely to get damaged. Afterall, you can clearly see in the MRI video that the woman's bladder and uterus are certainly taking a pounding from a pretty normal sized dick.

I guess cervix could be equally as sexy as fornix, though. Cervix is the word for neck, so I guess you could say it's like being deepthroated by a cunt. ;)

I was seriously waiting for a woman to chime in on this, but no one's popped up. I was searching through lit to see if anyone's posted anything about cervical pain, but again, none seemed to be of any substance.

Anyway, on another board I frequent there was a thread started that kind of backfired. Here, maybe this will prove my point about pain:

I highly recommend you ask a woman about this. You may get a surprise.

Actually, he was entering the anterior fornix rather easily. There was a certian amount of give and drag once he entered, but he definitely wasn't slamming, no space.

Oo.. I'll chime in. I some how missed these last posts on my favorites list or I would have sooner.

The vagina and cervix do indeed feel pain! A few examples I can think of being: Having a pap smear or having my cervix checked during a routine exam and during pregnancy hurts my cervix. While those procedures are possibly more invasive than intercourse, they prove to me my cervix does feel pain. If I play too rough with a toy I can cause pain to my cervix as well. As far as vaginal pain, if I try to insert something too large, it of course hurts. Not to cross a line into being crude, but during menstration if my tampon applicator goes in wrong or pinches me, it hurts.

In the beginning of our relationship there were a few times when hubby caused some cervical pain from intercourse.

:) Hope this helps.

Yea, I'll pipe in.

Not true. There are multiple times that sex has hurt with my above-average partner at certain angles or speeds. Putting my legs over his shoulders is pretty much guaranteed pain (which can be nice in its own way). Doggy style is iffy as well.
