Keira
"Keira-sama! Someone has arrived," Kikyo's voice chirped at me. I looked up from the diagnostic I was running. The fact I was standing on a scaffold with a laptop plugged into a terminal in the attic of the new annex made it impossible for the AI's physical body to be with me though she could speak through the speakers imbedded throughout the Chateau.
"Already? Who?" I asked, putting in the final code to a patch I'd written. It was the final touch on a new area that Grunt had asked me to install.
The AI chirped playfully, "Guess... I think it'll be a good surprise."
The air condition brought her scent to me before I had a chance to growl at the AI. "Lynnette," I breathed, eyes widening.
I took off like a shot, the jazz slippers I wore silent on the tiled floors (easier to climb scaffolds in). I rounded a corner to the garage, skidding slightly as I gathered myself for the pounce.
I was airborn for a moment before I hit her, sending both of us rolling onto the floor, landing on top of her in a crouch. I rubbed my cheek along hers and drew back to kiss her.
"Salutations, Wolven One. Welcome home."
