It's true, men will insult each other as a form of bonding. "Fuck me, I didn't know they stacked (sh)it that high" or "Look what the dog sicked up" are normal. It can be confusing. I don't think men use the trick to women, though a few can use 'bitch' in the UK and get away with it.

I call my boss a cunt to his face at least once a day. To be fair, I'm a pretty foul mouthed cunt at the best of times.

It's reserved for those occasions when I want to say it or hear it. He'll know.
 
I actually prefer cunt to the other silly names for a vagina. Clinical names just seem so inappropriate when you are having fun. Now to be called a cunt would be annoying unless I am actually being a cunt which does happen once in awhile.

I never use the C word in public Asian_Flower even though quite a few of my friends do today on the telephone, and openly during my youth. I adopted the word "yOni" to describe my own genitalia and occasionally during swearing I would call someone who angered me a "twat" openly. But I admit, I very rarely need to use that word. During love making I find all naughty words erotic especially whispered by my hubby, including the C word :)
 
Never understood why some folk (mostly Americans) are so hung up on this word.

I love my cunt, and I love how it feels when it's being used.

It's so twee. Cunt is a beautiful word for a beautiful part of a woman and if used correctly, during sexual passion, I love it. I hate it as a pejorative and anyway, if you call someone a cunt, it's more likely that they're being an arsehole.

I think it’s only acceptable between lovers or people in a sexual conversation. It’s impolite otherwise though I’ve never minded the word. Said amidst sex, it’s just filthy in a fun way.
