Need VPN recommendations

I have been using Mullad VPN because it's allegedly totally anonymous, as they don't maintain source traffic, but I've had issues with the connection quality recently. What do other people on VPNs use? As a tech veteran, I know that they sysadmins at ISP companies definitely snoop where they shouldn't and everyone's always a few buck away from giving up your data to the right bidder. It's just not right and that's whay I like VPNs and wish internet usage could just be totally anonymous.
