Government was never meant to be the central focus of our lives, nor to invade everything we do. It's far too big and far too invasive. And the government continues to get bigger, by the very fact that it can continually take from the population to engorge itself.

There's only one answer: we must get back to basic government functions which supply the NEEDS of government, and roll back the onslaught of trying to supply every WANT.

The ONLY solution is to cut government funding, upon which it feeds. We MUST repeal the XVI'th Amendment (Income Tax) and return the checks and balances to let the states have parity with the Federal government. State legislatures must be the source of federal funding, with the ability to decide what requests the federal government has that they will actually fund. States need the right and responsibility of saying NO to the federal government. Federal intimidation by withholding funds must come to an end.

The national debt is now, and has been for many years out of control. How long will it be before the interest on the debt exceeds revenues? How many times will the debt ceiling be raised?

It's time to end the madness....
