The BidenGood Thread

So whats your point? You would have save 75% of the cost on the 77 million, if Trump had filled it back in 2020. Sure a 75% savings is good, but it only reflects less than 12% of the total amount held in the SPR.

You'd have made a far better point if you stated Biden shouldn't bother trying to influence world oil prices by using the SPR in the first place. That at least is a valid point to debate.

Shit happens, and there is very little you or I can do about it now.
Each point is accurate and relevant. Readers can rank them any way they choose.

Which points? Using the SPR for price influencing, or the difference between 17.4 billion to refill the SPR over 13.8 Billion? Which is about 3.5 Billion out of a 6.011 Trillion dollar budget.

I think the readers already ranked your post. It's of the nature that anything Biden does is "bad" for the US...*chuckles* no matter what it is he does.

Right. Reducing the nation’s SPR to historically low levels and exposing the nation to strategic risk is brilliant, as is wasting at least $3.5 billion along the way. Especially when no one has a clue when prices might fall to the administration’s target price. We do know the Saudis have indicated their intent to keep prices around $90 to $100 a barrel. *chuckles*

So you agree with me, Biden using the SPR to placate the stupid Americans who can't realise the price of crude has gone up due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine was a foolish move. Awesome!! See once in a while we can agree.

Or the price of crude could crash to $24 a barrel again? That is a possibility if we have a major economic fall back next year ( very likely) that could come to be, no matter what OPEC does.

Your just betting the price doesn't drop....great idea to bet on stranded assets.

Of course I agree with you that Brandon’s move is stupid and risky. Glad we’re on the same page (even though it took you a while to catch on.) *chuckles*

Clarifying points is not “catching on”.
Yes we’re are in agreement, it is a poor move, made to placicate Americans who can’t understand economics. Lots of them on both sides of the political spectrum.

And now, with most of the rest of the world suffering from increasing inflation, Biden has turned that tide in the U.S.A.

Inflation rate is reduced this month. The guy's got good instinct and common sense. It's no wonder he beat Trump in the landslide (Trump's description) election of 2020.

And if the Biden Administration ignores the youth concerning Willow next week...it is over. The Democrats will lose the future.

Let's see....he promised:

1) Roe v Wade would be protected. FAILED

2) Student loan help would be available. FAILED

3) Environmental concerns would be a cornerstone of his Administration. FAILED

Why will anyone under 30 vote for him again? They won't. Yet the Democrats think they will. Sorry.

1. No he didn't
2. He has provided help by prolonging a pause on payments and signed an executive order to forgive loans which is currently being fought in the courts
3. He signed the largest green initiative law in history

Dribble appears to be disappointed that being elected President does not result in the absolute power to make decrees. He reminds me of Holden Caufield in Catcher in the Rye.  A perpetual adolescent, paralyzed with inaction, and depressed by the inaction of others.
