Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to President Biden, who is 62.5% Irish.

David Letterman's Top 10 things overheard on St. Patrick's Day:

1. You'll get your personal effects back downtown, Monsignor.

2. While we're in the neighborhood, let's drop by the Museum of Modern Art.

3. Hey, that guy's not wearing green -- kill him!

4. These foreign cars tip over much easier.

5. Aww . . . not on my shoes!

6. That's not a float -- that's Tip O'Neill.

7. You have the right to remain silent . . .

8. Gee, food sure tastes good when you boil it!

9. All right! Another bagpipe band!

10. Today, my name is Mayor O'Koch.

Biden says he told Putin U.S. will hack back against future Russian cyberattacks

President Joe Biden on Wednesday said he warned his Russian counterpart that the U.S. would use offensive cyber operations in the future unless the Kremlin clamps down on cyber strikes against the U.S., including ransomware attacks and election interference.

"He knows there are consequences," Biden told reporters in Geneva following his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. "He knows I will take action.”

Biden doesn't really stand for anything. All his adult life he has blown along in whichever direction the political wind is blowing. In the eighties and early nineties when politicians were all tough on law and order, Biden was the darling of the Democrat right, and now in 2021 when left wing social justice seems to be all the rage, guess what? Biden is Mr woke.

Biden doesn't really stand for anything.

Biden stands for decency and competence. I can readily understand why you can't (or pretend not to) see that. Nothing someone rotten like you can do to tear him down.

He also, for a long time, claimed to be a Presbyterian and to be a member of the Marblegate Collegiate Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, but after the church in an official statement said that was news to them, he decided he was nondenominational and is practicing how to hold a Bible right side up. Still, the Evangelicals and the board Trumpettes think he's Jesus. :D

Michelle Obama once said she wakes up every morning "in a house that was built
by slaves." For the past five years, the White House Historical Association has
been researching their names and stories.

i loved watching him give the speech yesterday.

gave me a smile when he came out, almost at a little trot... such a dorky grandad move, but his speech was one of unification, hope for the future, and remembering how strong this nation can be when it's not tearing itself in half.

under a trump presidency, i never would have embraced the move towards citizenship. under biden, i see the value in this country...that america at her best is a thing of beauty
